Majors: The classes can be challenging but I have really enjoyed all my classes so far. I feel like I'm actually getting my money's worth and learning things.

Campus Housing: Obviously the freshmen dorms aren't amazing, but some of the suites and apartments are actually really nice. Dorms on upper campus are a 3-4 minute walk from classes, and dorms on lower campus are probably only a 7-8 minute walk, which still isn't bad at all.

College Freshman

Scholarships: I did not receive any financial aid to come to Bentley.

Athletics: Sports at Bentley aren't huge- people will go to the first couple of football games but eventually it will die down. I wish we had more fan support. The gym is new and super nice- it can be busy sometimes but I've never had an issue with finding a machine to use.

Greek Life: Greek life isn't really my thing, but the parties can be fun. I don't feel left out if i don't join Greek life.

Off-Campus Housing: The dorms at Bentley are so nice, there's really no reason to live off campus. Also, Waltham is very expensive and not the nicest town to live in, so most people stay on campus.

Party Scene: It's what you make of it- I enjoy the parties, however they are smaller than other schools. It's still easy to have a great time on the weekends.

Local Area: Waltham isn't very exciting, but if you have a car on campus, there's a ton of restaurants and malls nearby. I never have a problem finding something to do or somewhere to go on a Saturday afternoon, or a random Tuesday night for dinner if I don't feel like Seasons.

4 College Freshman

Party Scene: It's not a huge state school with wild parties and that's just the reality. You will meet and see the same people most weekends, but I like that.

Health & Safety: I think campus is safe. I've never had an issue. I don't think rape/assault is a big issue on our campus because it's a pretty small school.

College Freshman

Scholarships: I received scholarships that covered tuition so I did not apply or qualify for more financial aid.

Academics: I love my classes. Didn't hate a single my first semester, which will likely change, but upperclassmen seem happy with their education/classes.

Campus Housing: Our dorms are not the most up to date, but there is plenty of space. My parents gave me the master bedroom at home which had its own bathroom and I have no struggled down sizing in college.

Majors: I think there are a lot of well taught majors. Upperclassmen seem very happy with there choices. As a freshman I don't have much to add to this topic, but academic advising is very helpful!

Campus Food: People complain endlessly about Seasons. My big issue is that my sister goes to a similarly sized university and they have 6 dining halls whereas Bentley has one true dining hall where you swipe in and it's all you can it. The only eatable thing from breakfast is omelettes in my opinion, but I can't eat food that's been sitting under a heat lamp. During lunch and dinner there are 6 stations: custom sandwiches, burgers/hot dogs/chicken/fires, the "hot line", pasta, pizza and a station that changes daily but whatever is being served there is made to order. The only things that change are the hotline and the station where they make made to order food so if you don't like either of those you're stuck eating the same 4 items day after day. There is also a salad and dessert bar. Cereal, yogurt, bagels, bread and fruit are always available. I think we need more variety. Mien Bowl is also in Season's and can be eaten on a meal swipe. It's supposed to be a fresh stri-fry, but the vegetables are terrible because it's basically salad. We joke around and call it "Five Star Seasons".

Athletics: I love the gym at Bentley, it's relatively new. The equipment is good. There is plenty of everything in my opinion, however there are definitely times when the gym is busy. Attending sports events isn't huge. I would say I go to about 70% of home games.

Greek Life: I think Greek life has a presence on campus if you're looking for it. It's certainly not the only thing to do on weekends, but it's definitely an option. Our frat houses are off campus and sororities cannot have houses in MA because they're considered a brothel. Frats being off campus complicates things so we have a "shuttle system". Essentially, frat XYZ is trowing a party at their house so brothers that live on campus will make their room the shuttle room. If you want to go to the house you go to the shuttle room and there are brothers "running" which requires they stay in the shuttle room and run people who want to go to the parties to the shuttles. The shuttles are just some of the brother's cars driven buy pledges, new brothers and brothers who volunteer if there is the need, but they stay sober. I've never seen a shuttle driver drink and I've seen pledges dropped for drinking when they were driving. Some people still choose to stay on campus, but I think it's relatively safe.

Off-Campus Housing: Honestly I don't see why anyone would move off. The dorms are really nice in comparison to other school, even the size is reasonable. I think living in Waltham would be more expensive overall with the added hassle of a commute.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: You see a lot of people that dress very similar, but overall it's not bad. There's definitely no pressure to dress that way. You see a fair number of people in suits for interviews/presentations every week, but most people dress relativity causal to class. Not the kind of school where people get supppper dressed up to go out like you see at other schools. I haven't met anyone I didn't like, everyone is really easy going while also committed to school.

Greek Life: Many people rush/pledge to be in greek life. They tend to stick together and aren't welcoming to othrs

Athletics: sports arent very big here. students go to the games but usually leave by half time

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Always working towards maintaining our health and safety through seminars

College Freshman

Greek Life: Not really a fan of it, parties aren't too fun but it isn't big on campus either

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Close to the classrooms, and we got a big dorm! It's better than I expected.

5 College Freshman

Athletics: Beautiful, well-equiped gym...finally started going this year because of how nice it is!

The Bentley experience is hardly a normal college experience, and the majority of students here would choose Bentley again in a heartbeat. From day one, you are set on a track to receive a unique business education. Hard work and effort are mandatory, but the rewards are endless. The combination of intense business and fun liberal arts courses creates well-rounded students that employers love to sign on. Students who are unhappy with their Bentley experience are usually those who find the school to be more business-focused than they had expected. But those who become immersed in the atmosphere always find it to be exciting, strenuous, and worth while.

Bentley students have the opportunity to interact with professors who are leaders in the field, learn from renowned companies in the classroom, and have access to the latest technology. This creates a distinctive class of business schools in which Bentley is quickly becoming a leader. From the relatively diverse campus to the professor-student relationships and general campus life, the University is so much more than "just a business school." If you want to have a college experience that you can reflect back on and say you received an excellent real-world business education, were exposed to state-of-the-art technology, and had a good time while doing it, then Bentley is for you.
