I went to Benedictine in search of a good science program. Most doctors and professionals who I go to revere this institution as the hidden gem of the university world. With those professors who have tenure provide an environment that is second to none. They make you feel like you are getting your money's worth and it feels great to gain the respect of various professors throughout the semester. The registration process can be difficult to deal with because it only opens up on certain days depending on where you stand both class wise and credit wise. But if you put the work in, then you get to register earlier then those who don't. Overall great university!

Being a Health Science major, it is very rigorous. The core classes that you have to take can be challenging, for instance, Organic Chemistry. Across the board no matter which university or college you take this course, it is very hard. As your schooling goes the more challenging classes can get. They are meant to weed students out which is not necessarily a bad thing because it can be a reality check for those who think they can make it as a doctor.

Job opportunities are great. Most of the activities and services are student ran so you get to immerse yourself in student life. I rate this experience as an A because you get out what you put in and hard work will equate into success!

Pretty Decent Dorming – Although the freshman dorms are not entirely considered best at Benedictine University (it can get pretty smelly at Jaegar's dorm for girls), upperclassman dorms are really something to look forward to. They have a lot of space to keep your belongings, there is no need to share the same room, and there are bathrooms per section. Its really great! Plus the apartments which are off campus are really clean and the environment is very safe. Plus, they aren't far off campus at all; it is just walking distance from the university.
