3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The rooms themselves were decent, my roommate was awesome (I lucked out), but the surrounding students on my floor were loud, pot-smoking, fraternity drunks a lot of the time. Rules weren't really enforced. Also, you can't really study for an important test when girls are trying to wall twerk on your wall.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I love living off campus and being close enough to campus that I don't have to drive everyday.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Good, they could have cheaper restaurants

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: Bemidji is a very outdoorsy school, so naturally its awesome when a bunch of people decide to go find a place in the middle of woods to throw a huge party with a huge bonfire and games to play.

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: I like the options for food in Lakeside.

I am not a fan of Wally's it gets really old after the first couple of months, but they do a great breakfast.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I enjoyed living on campus, I was constantly surrounded by my friends and I had a constant support system.

I liked that everything on campus is walking distance that is something I miss now that I live off campus.

The social atmosphere is typical for Minnesota, everyone is super friendly and willing to help if you are lost.

the cost of tuition last year was 3X's that I am paying now that I live off campus. Its spendy.

It was a easy transition to move into the dorms and meet the new people I would be living with for 9 months.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Depends on the neighborhood and where you want to live. Its a small town so everything is pretty close so it isn't that hard.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Not many options. There are three subways and two mcdonalds, but no olive garden, wendys, panera, noodles and co. etc. Student discounts are ok. Mcdonalds hasa different menu during the night (only the more expensive burgers etc. ).

3 College Sophomore

Administration: Very strict on drinking all the time. Strict on noise during finals and when its quiet hours.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: There isn't much to do in the town besides drink. Unless you play sports the options are slim. But not as much of a party scene as expected.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Its not that bad. If you're confused, don't wait and ask someone, they know what to do.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Options are slim and food get repetitive. I get sick of eating the same food all the time. Lines are super long at lakeside after classes get out and sometimes its not worth it to wait in line so I get a pre-made sandwich. The food overall is super good but there in not much variety. Wally's gets repetitive too and there may be laxatives in the food but I'm not positive.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Kind of expensive for not the best room freshman year. But you meet a ton of people. People are nice and like to help others. The process is pretty easy once you make your account for the university. Overall pretty good, but could always be better.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I've heard they aren't bad.

4 College Freshman

Administration: They are strict for the better interest of us.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: It was a difficult process all together.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: I don' t go out and party, but it isn't hard to figure out a place to go. People talk.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: Spendy, but if you use the meal plan carefully, it works out.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: So nice to be living 10 walking minutes away from classes!

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: You're pretty much stuck with old homes if you want to go off campus. But BSU is building a new off-campus apartment-style building for students in the next few years.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: A wide variety of grocery stores. Walmart, Target, Marketplace, and two Lukens. Lukens offers student discounts. There's a lot of pizza places near-by.

4 College Freshman

Administration: Campus is a dry campus. You get strikes for breaking rules in the dorms. The RA usually don't care if you drink off-campus even if you are a minor. Just don't drink in the dorm.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: Never email the financial aid office, always go directly to the office if something is wrong. They will never email you back.

4 College Freshman

Party Scene: I'm not much of a party goer, but I can overhear the parties and they seem fun!

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: Food is pretty basic. C3 is incredibly expensive.
