Parking: Parking is a nonissue at Beloit. Fees are $80.00/ semester and I never have any trouble finding a spot.

Parking: Parking is free and generally not a problem. Sometimes you may have difficulty finding parking right by your residence hall, but since Beloit is a small school parking farther away is never really that far.

Parking: Beloit College is awesome and unique because it offers free parking!! Very few other colleges and universities do this! About half of students have cars and there is plenty of available parking on campus near the residence halls. If you do not have a car you are bound to have multiple friends who do. Beloit College also runs a free shuttle service for running errands on both Sunday and Wednesday nights.

Parking on the Beloit College campus is like a very exciting game of Monopoly. It takes forever, but if you win, you feel a real sense of accomplishment. It’s true what they say, you’ll always be able to park somewhere, but it may not always be where you wanted to park. And if you’re driving, say, a giant 10-person burgundy station wagon around campus, chances are it’s going to be a bit problematic trying to get your huge piece of car into a space. But, whoa, can you haul a lot back from Wal-Mart!

If you have a car, people will want to use it or want you to use it to bring them somewhere. If you don’t have a car, you can find some nice sucker whose parents bought them a new car for graduation to cart you around. Or one of your friends may also have a car. Or you can hold your horses until Wednesday night for Students Activities to cart you around in the Beloit College vans. Having a car is definitely not necessary, considering the small size of the school and its proximity to essential places. You can walk to downtown Beloit where the bookstore is. It’s not something I would fret about.
