Technology: They have an amazing skills lab for their Radiology and Nursing student allowing you to practice your skills prior to meeting patients for the first time. The Lab is easy access and they have wi fi connection thru out the school so it is easy to just bring your own computer.

Local Area: Green Bay is a smaller town with some noted attractions such as the Packer Stadium and Resch Center. Often main venue groups come to this attraction to perform. They also host the Nevile Museum (great for kids) and Hertiage Hill. All in all the town is quaint and the area refreshing. We are linked with both UWGB and St Norberts. Also for an afternoon of relaxation the Wildlife Sanctuary is a must see.

Academics: I chosen Bellin College for my master's in Nursing and have yet to start their program. I did my undergraduate here and know it will set me up well for jobs and experience in the future. I am excited about the task ahead and invite others to join with me in this quality education for Nurses.

Local Area: Green Bay has a few nice malls, movie theaters, walking trails, bowling alleys, and restaurants. If you don't really enjoy any of those things, Green Bay isn't the place for you.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: Bellin is very grade oriented and they really look at what classes you took and your ACT scores. If you don't have a high enough ACT score, you don't get in. If you've maintained a B average and took somewhat challenging classes in high school, you should have no problem being accepted. You also have to have done one or more job shadows.

Campus Food: There is only one small cafe at the college. They have a small variety of food including salads, sandwiches, fruit, and they have a daily special. I would highly suggest bringing a lunch if you're able to. The college has an area with two fridges to put their lunch bags and I've never had a problem finding a space to put my lunch bag in. There is also a subway, pizza place, mcdonalds, and a small pub nearby.

Majors: Even though there really aren't any internship opportunities for the radiology field, we have clinicals that are very similar. The number of credits and hours of clinical depend on what year and semester you are in. The great thing about Bellin College is that once you are accepted into the school for the program, you are automatically accepted in the clinical experience as well. Many schools require you to complete a certain number of credits before you can even apply for clinical (usually in the junior year) while we start right away our first semester of sophomore year.

Administration: College is very strict, in a good way. Students are drug tested yearly.

Party Scene: There is no nightlife, campus closes early but there is a lot to do in the Green Bay Area.

5 College Junior

Parking: There are plenty of spots to park and it is very close to school. Parking passes are free.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Everyone is very nice and works with each other to help one another.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There are not many housing options available to students near the college.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: Dining options are available for such a small school.

2 College Junior

Athletics: Our school does not have any athletics associated directly with it, but Bellin students are allow to participate in partner school athletics if they so choose.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are different options available at a reasonable cost with reasonable discounts.

Party Scene: Doesn't Exist! The "nightlife" at Bellin College consists of study groups...and that's it. The college pretty much shuts down by 6pm. However, the quiet campus is a great environment for studying. Nightlife is a tad more exciting in town or at the nearby UWGB, where there is always something to do.

5 College Sophomore

Parking: There's always room to park at Bellin College. There's a big parking lot out front for the students and another big parking lot for student overflow and staff members. I never have a problem with parking, even in the winter!

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Off-Campus Is the Only Option! Bellin College offers no housing so most students either live at UWGB or in apartments. The housing at UWGB (dorms and apartments) are really expensive, as is the food served there. Apartments not related to the schools can be really nice if you're willing to pay. There are lots of options for students, though, on all sides of town.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Drug Free Zone – Students must take drug tests anually in order to stay enrolled at Bellin College. Therefore, while some students may drink or smoke, there are few drugs. Also, the campus itself is a smoke-free environment so any drinking or smoking is done off-campus.

Local Area: Typical Wisconsin – Wisconsin is very well known for its drinking, unfortunately. For students under the age of 21 there isn't a lot to do. It helps when the campus hosts events but Bellin college is really small so most of the events are at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Football season is fun though...go Packers!

4 College Junior

Academics: I will have a major in nursing and become an RN when I graduate. The college does a great job with the teachers because they are all very specialized within their fields and know a lot about the topics that they teach. The workload is not easy, but that can be said for any college class. It is not an over load of work but the teachers do a very good job at telling you what to study and teaching you what you need to know about the topics. There are some job opportunities at the school but you can get more experience working at a nursing home or at a hospital, which in Green Bay there are a lot of options.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: The college does a good job at emailing you various scholarships that they are aware of, the problem is that all of them do not apply. The tuition is kind of expensive, but is acceptable for the class sizes. Otherwise, financial aid is through the government and through FASA which is on an as needed basis.

4 College Junior

Academics: The college is very specialized and at the bachelor's level only offers a bachelor's degree in radiology and a bachelor's degree of nursing. This means that the teachers all have worked in the field for years before coming to teach and know a lot about the specific field that they were in. Professors are all very nice and want you to succeed. The graduating classes are small (around 50 people) and you take all of your nursing classes with the same people. This allows you to get to know everyone in your class very well. The registration process is very easy and you work with an academic advisor one on one to plan out the schedule and get registered for all of your general education classes.

3 College Junior

Campus Quality: Bellin Fitness Center – The college has a very small fitness center with locker rooms, that isn't really big but it does have a few things, but students are dually enrolled at University of Wisconsin Green Bay for general education credits, where they do have a huge fitness center to use that is free too!

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Konop Food – Not very many choices, or healthy choices for that matter. Small area as well.
