There are different kinds of majors and degrees to choose from at the school. Each study field has their own school. Art has their own school, STEM field majors has their own school, and environmental has their own school. If you are in the science field like me, you have your own dean to go to if you have questions or concerns. Plus, you'll meet a lot of students that are in the same field as you that you can interact with. Plus, you can make a study buddy or a study group. There are always advisors that can assist you in your field if needed.

This school is NOT for the weak at heart! You have to be on your toes! The faculty is completely dedicated to helping those that help themselves. They do have student councel, and it appears that they genuinely care about student input.

SFCC is one of a kind. One of the easiest schools i've been to. Some teachers are boring and some are pretty funny that makes you want to stay in their class for the remainder of time you attend there. There is also a high school at the school for sophomores through seniors. I love the programs they offer there, one specific kind is Trio. Trio can help you succeed in your studies, has one of the best tutors in the school and you'll just love the staff there. If any community college in the state of New Mexico, it's SFCC.
