2 College Junior

Overall Experience: We haven't been recruited at all

College Junior

Online Courses: There are no online courses

3 College Junior

Student Body: A lot of females. Mostly white

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I've had to pay at least $1000 every semester, which I hadn't planned on. I don't qualify for enough loans via fasfa. Other than that, I received a $500 academic scholarship from BHSLR and I didn't even apply for it.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: It's hard and time consuming, but I work 30 hours a week and still manage a 3.0. The clinical experience is great.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Instructors are there when you need them. They answer emails and phone calls even on the weekends. The books were expensive but we use all of them. All study materials are available online via a blackboard type of site.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: There isn't a library on campus, you have to go over to the hospital if you want to use it. There aren't enough printers available for students.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I would choose it again because of all the amazing people I have met so far and this is just my first year. I would not because of the math teacher.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: It's not a university so the student body is a lot smaller than what I am used to. They are very religious, obviously, because they are Baptist. I love that they encourage us and that they pray for us.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think if they are going to make us pay for the books and everything we are paying for then they should at least provide us with the books the teachers are going to use so that they can benefit the students. I spent $400 on an anatomy book that I never used and the book my teacher actually for notes and tests was only $30.

Career Services: If you don't get your degree, then your only option is to work for Baptist and I am not doing that. If you do get your degree, then your options are limitless.

College Sophomore

Online Courses: I haven't had to take any online courses.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I loved my clinical rotations. It just made me even more excited to become an RN. So far, the workload has been fairly okay compared to many of the classes I had when I attended a university. I do think they should give more homework assignments for points.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: We offer academics based on the program you are studying.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: It's frustrating having a math teacher who doesn't teach well and only gives tests for grades. If they are going to make us learn how to do math by hand then they shouldn't require us to have a calculator for every math class after fifth grade because many people struggle with math and it is the reason I am now waiting to see if I will be let back in the nursing program over three points.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: I love that they pray for us and that there is someone always there to bring a positive, biblical word of encouragement when we need it.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: We are actually moving to a different building. They are building a new school for us.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Always worried that the system is not working.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: Many say that the material is hard but like anything, if you want to learn it, you will have to put in the time and effort to learn it.
