2 College Sophomore

Athletics: The sports are not good here. All of the sports are sub par and no one ever makes it really big and goes far. Students are involved in during football season and I'm pretty sure that's only for the tailgating. There is not much school spirit because no one ever wins much. The facilities are well kept up with and they look nice however.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Our teams aren't the best but we usually have a good amount of show ups. Our facilities are really great. The rec center is on the newer side and most if not all dorms have multiple exercise rooms

3 College Freshman

Athletics: The facilities are very nice, but student attendance to sporting events is low.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: I love sports and going to sporting events. Unfortunately, I only found myself going to one football game this year. It was tons of fun though. Everyone was so into the game and genuinely excited to be there. We were all rooting for the team, whether we were winning or losing. My favorite events to attend were mens and women volleyball games. While the crowds aren't equivalent to those at a football or basketball game, they were just as fun. It was so fun to watch the positive sportsmanship of the teams and watch them all work so hard for a common goal.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: The rec center is GREAT! It has everything I could ever look for athletically

Most Popular Sports
Varsity sports attendance at Ball State is dismal. People who do go to BSU athletic events usually attend football or basketball games. Aside from that, girlfriends/boyfriends and the odd family member tend to be the only ones in the bleachers.
Most Overlooked Teams
Students don't pay much attention to any of Ball State's teams, though some students say that the women's volleyball team is deserving of more attention.
School Spirit
For the most part, Ball State students are pretty apathetic when it comes to school pride. Attendance at sporting events is dismal, and the student government struggles to find and keep delegates, especially for the off-campus constituency.
Getting Tickets
Tickets are generally easy to get and are free for students who present a valid Ball State ID.
