4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Almost being in my program I have had a great experience being at baker and all of my classes. I am not overloaded with classes and can do how ever many of them that I would like to take.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I am in the Radiology program. All the instructors work in the field, so all the lesson revolve around the real world of x-ray. One of our instructors is also our clinical instructor and works really hard to place each student in the best location that fits their personality. The workload is heavy, but each quarter builds upon the past one. Now, I am in my second quarter and stuff is actually making sense. The curriculum is solely based on the aspects of x-ray and what we will encounter when we start our clinical rotation. The clinical coordinator works directly with head of the radiology department at the site, so we are constantly being monitored and our coordinator is always keep up to date on or progress. We will also participate in mock registry exams to prepare us for our board exam. I've spoken to x-ray students from other schools and they were not prepared for their boards or their clinical rotation. I feel very fortunate.

Academic Experience: The health majors are the most difficult to get into. Baker has a separate grading scale just for these related classes. Although you have to work harder to achieve these grades it is still possible to do.

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The workload is just perfect enough to give insight to the program and what it is all about.

Academic Experience: The teachers are normally from the job business. One of my teachers is an undersheriff for the city and it is really cool being able to learn from those who have actually worked in the area and can talk about the experience.
