Campus Food

{{ error }}
3 College Junior

Campus Food: Trim has improved and now has grilled chicken during weekday lunches in the salad bar. Guests can use host swipes. It's possible to be healthy and eat the campus food, but everyone tries to cook and eat off campus as much as they can.

1 College Freshman

Campus Food: The food here is absolutely disgusting. Being gluten free they run out of gluten free food most of the time. There were many instances where I had absolutely 0 dining options and had to order from local restaurants to deliver to me. This schools food is so gross. They serve rice just about every day, and not one time was the rice somewhat decent. It is always crunchy and poorly cooked. Everyone here hates trim food, and Reynolds is slightly better, but being gluten free is hard because the people who work here usually can't speak English or understand what I'm saying when I tell them there can't be gluten in my food. Trim not to mention is just one disappointment after another with few options and poor food to begin with.

2 College Freshman

Campus Food: There should be more variety with the food.

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: It's good, it was really good when i first starte dnow it's tedious.

5 College Student

Campus Food: Delicious food and variety! love the pizza and pasta

The dining facilities at Babson are not too shabby, with the exception of negative student opinions about the Trim Dining Hall. But even with all the incessant complaints about long lines, nutrition, and food variety, everyone admits that the food options here are better than other colleges they have visited. A relevant issue that some students bring up is that all resident students are required to be on the meal plan. With the average meal plan costing more than $2,200 per semester, it is reasonable for some to be upset.

Overall, if a student is not satisfied with the meal plan options, he or she can also eat in the Olin Hall (where Babson Bucks may also be used), off campus, or order for a delivery. The food at Trim isn't really bad—it just gets boring after a while. This phenomenon seems to happen in almost every college, but the wealthy and sometimes much too needy Babson residents love to complain about it. Trim offers options ranging from a vegan bar to a grill bar, with salads and sandwiches in between. There are many other choices at Trim—you can even make your own waffles! Although many students love to complain about the dining arrangements at Trim, many still go there to eat most mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
