4 College Junior

Administration: The administration is easy to get along with, though they have strict rules that are enforced inconsistently. You have to be really stupid and/or drunk to get in trouble.

3 Recent Alumnus

Administration: Not much of a social life

1 College Freshman

Administration: The administration here is horrible. They are the most fake group of people I've ever had to interact with. They appear to care about the students, and want to act like they care, but when students reach out to them they don't help and don't care.

1 College Senior

Administration: Admin doesn't care about students. It's an oligarchy

3 College Freshman

Administration: Babson college police are pretty lenient however they want to make sure that all students are safe.

There is a mix of opinions from the student body on this issue. Basically, if you are a freshman here and you get caught, expect the officer to be much stricter with you than with your senior buddy. It's good advice to get to know as many BABO as you can as soon as possible. This being said, many freshmen are scared of even talking to the police, when in reality, BABO is just a bunch of friendly guys trying to do their job. If you decide to throw a crazy party in Forest Hall, think again, because you'll probably hear a knock even before your friends start showing up. The party atmosphere there also depends largely on the RAs, who are sometimes even stricter than BABO when it comes to throwing a bash in this freshman dorm. But, as long as things are kept quiet—the door is locked, and the windows are shut—there is no need to worry. Seniors get away with murder in comparison to the underclassmen since they know the ropes and can coax the officers into letting them go if they somehow manage to get caught.

BABO treats almost everyone like mature adults unless things get out of control and someone punches someone else for spilling a beer or being too drunk. Freshmen are generally at high risk of getting caught and being given a strike, not just by BABO, but also by their RA. The party scene is not a raging one here, and if you get caught, the best thing to do is be very polite and honest. This technique will almost always help get you off the hook and maybe even meet a new friend—a BABO.
