Guys & Girls: You will find surface level christians here. There are many great individuals with pure intentions, but there are also an overwhelming amount of 'church' friendly people. What I mean by this is that they will be outwardly friendly and surface level compassionate, but just the same as any other college away from the public eye.

The main reason I say this is the unreal expectation of many people that a Christian university means extremely 'pious' individuals. Just remember it is a college and that is the age.... with or without chapel.

Campus Housing: The housing is very hot and cold depending on where you get placed. If you live in the dorms, they are pretty standard issue for colleges. If you live in Bowles, it is literally a repurposed apartment complex with many problems. However if you live in the Mods or University Village it is much, much nicer.

5 College Junior

Majors: With my major, there are many opportunities to thrive, such as writing for the newspaper and assisting professors.

2 College Junior

Scholarships: I have not received very helpful financial aid. My situation did not match up with APU's requirements.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: The Housing system is great. Very decent living areas for all years. The only flaw I believe is that it is a requirement to live on campus all four years, which not all students are very happy about.

4 College Junior

Technology: The Computers that are available are very reliable and we have a very goo IMT team.

Transportation: Public transportation around Azusa is a little sketchy. There are bus stops in close walking distance and a train station not too far away, but there is a high possibility of encountering several homeless and delinquents on your trip. The bus and train financially are much more affordable than calling for a taxi. Most things are of walking distance from the school though.

Local Area: San Diego is great. It's beautiful and there is always something to do. The campus is 10 minutes from the closest beach.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are many options. Lots of fast food as well as sit down restaurants. This is for the SD campus

5 College Sophomore

Weather: I love the weather in Southern California. It's always nice!!

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I live in trinity and I thought it was very nice. The whole curfew thing ca. Be very annoying tho when you are studying in a group because come 10 o clock every moves down into the library and common areas and becomes hard to study.

2 College Sophomore

Parking: They are ridiculously strict, and its so expensive. We already pay 38,000 to go their.

3 College Sophomore

Technology: I have my own so I don't use there's but the wifi is sometimes hard to connect to

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: The teams are good, but being a d2 school it lacks some of the facilities that D1 schools have

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The dorm life is awesome and you will never be bored. Always have people around you that want to do things so you will have a lot of options.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: People are very nice and friendly at APU. They are all bright and willing to help.

Transportation: For transportation between East and West campus a trolley is available for all students. It gets packed at peak hours of classes around 8-12am, but it is still possible to get on.

5 College Senior

Drug Safety: I have never seen anyone doing any kind of drugs. Nobody has ever asked me to do a drug. So my feelings are, the students want to learn and to better themselves. I do not feel the students want to destroy there lives with drugs. People that are on drugs are not people that want a good future.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: There are always campus safety officers monitoring the campus. The city of Azusa is not very safe, but when on campus I feel protected.

3 College Senior

Health & Safety: The campus itself is very safe but the surrounding city can be dangerous at night.

4 College Senior

Campus Quality: The community at APU is amazing. They have events geared towards connecting students with like minded people.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academics: people of the same major tend to participate in activities and events specific to their major ultimately creating a deep bond with one another

3 Recent Alumnus

Local Area: with campus safety, it allows for a safe school atmosphere. Azusa itself does not offer much activity

2 Recent Alumnus

Parking: Parking on West campus is inconvenient and campus safety loves to ticket

4 College Junior

Campus Quality: I myself play for the varsity baseball team and the environment for each of my teammates is great. We all have extra activities to do outside of our sport and we even like to compete with other athletes in different sports in basketball.
