4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The classes are great! Most professors care about your success and are willing to help if you take the time and effort to ask for advice. The specialized classes are small compared to public schools which can be good or bad. General ed.classes are still small; they are about 75 students.

Overall Experience: They offer a variety of help it is just hard to make time to seek these services. In the science field you can join research with professors with more ease because there are less people and it will give you experience in the lab for the future. There are lots of job opportunities and the alumni are very involved.

Campus Food: At first you think you have a lot of options but then you realize you are basically eating bugers and pizzas everyday. I wished for healthier options many times but all they have are refrigerated salads with mostly lettuce. The meals are way over priced. It's about $9/meal. The freshmen meal plan is about $2,000 which is required to get if they live on campus.

Campus Housing: From what I've heard the dorms are bigger than cal state dorms. There are a variety of options and housing ranges from $1596 ish - $2,500 ish a semester. However it's probably because the tuition itself is very expensive.

Scholarships: There should be more scholarships for graduate students

Academics: Almost all of the professors that I have had have been absolutely amazing at being available at all times to help you in any way. Registering for classes is rather easy, but like at any school can be stressful if you are taking a class everyone wants to get into. There are many opportunities for studying abroad and making your learning experience at APU a great one!

5 College Junior

Academics: I am a nursing major and am completely satisfied with every aspect of the program.

Campus Housing: Community of the Campus Housing is amazing. The lottery system can seem unfair to those who do not pull a low enough number to receive the first picks on housing; however, wherever you live on campus there are many opportunities to live in community with others and thoroughly enjoy your living experience.

Guys & Girls: Although I am in a long-distance committed relationship and do not necessarily view others in this certain way, there are more girls on campus than guys, as well as this interesting concept of a DTR (Defining the Relationship) talk that accompanies many "rings by spring" relationships.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: Upon acceptance into the school, if your GPA from high school is high enough, you are offered a series of scholarships. APU is expensive; however, they offer multiple scholarships and grants that can make it less pricey.

Diversity: APU plays largely on its diversity; however, it is not the diversity most people originally think of, as in ethnic or racial diversity, but once you experience the first signs of diversity on campus though, your eyes are opened to see the beauty and differences in everyone.

5 College Junior

Campus Quality: Words can't describe how amazing APU campus is, from the amazing professors to the great commodities offered on campus, the community makes you feel like a true investment, not just "another student".

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are a plethora of places to choose from. Whether you would like something along the lines of fast food or a sit down, there are many options.

3 College Junior

Athletics: The most exciting sporting event I has been a basketball event. APU does an amazing job at uniting the students to attend sporting events and truly cheer on our brothers and sisters.

4 College Junior

Local Area: APU campus has an amazing community and those in the surrounding area know and love the students.

1 College Junior

Greek Life: As far as I know, there is no "Greek Life" on the APU campus.

2 College Junior

Party Scene: As a Christian University in the Azusa area, there are not that many nightlife options surrounding the school; however, the campus is only 30 minutes away from Downtown.
