3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Again, I haven't been off campus much to eat at places, but I've heard good things.

3 College Freshman

Administration: I appreciate the administration and don't find anything they do too strict. I think lots of things fall under their radar though.

3 College Freshman

Local Area: I haven't gotten off-campus much to see the area, but it's pretty tame.

Majors: I believe that enforcing a bible class into my program is a waste because if i'm going to transfer out, it's a waste of my time and money.

Off-Campus Housing: The off campus houses are great! They are quite affordable, and large enough of a living space to not feel so cluttered.

Administration: The administration here at APU is very well organized and Christ-centered. The school policies are strictly enforced to keep students' lives in order.

Scholarships: I feel like APU offered me a lot of money compared to the money they offered my peers, but i still feel like it is not enough; as my family is still struggling to pay for me to go here.

Party Scene: The party scene at my school is not all that great. The parties that I have been to have cliques within the party and it doesn't feel as if it's a party but more of a public social gathering with your close friends.

3 College Junior

Local Area: It is not in a great location, but it is very close to other areas that are much nicer. There are quite a few stores within walking distance, and other nicer shopping and eating areas are a 15 minute drive. Overall its relative location is good, because it is close to a few nicer towns.

Athletics: We are pretty great at sports, but it is not a huge part of the campus life.

Greek Life: It is the best, because we do not have sororities or fraternities on campus.

Off-Campus Housing: I commute, and I think it is great to live off campus. Then again, I never lived on campus, so I cannot judge fairly.

Majors: I am in the liberal studies program. It is a lot of work because you have to do service learning in most classes. It is great through because you get hands on experience in the teaching community. I think it is a great undergrad program, and I am going to continue my graduate education there.

2 College Junior

Party Scene: This is not a party school. You have to go off campus to find the party scene.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: It is about average. Nothing too great, but there are some options

Local Area: A lot of students complain about how dangerous the surrounding city is because most of them are from upper class neighborhoods but it's really not too bad. The town is suburban so there are a lot of stores and things but nothing really exciting or exotic nearby.

Health & Safety: The health center is decent but the campus safety is a joke and they're very annoying.

Off-Campus Housing: If you get the opportunity to live off campus DO IT! too many rules for on campus living and no freedom. However they don't allow freshmen or sophomores to live off campus unless you are commuting from home. There are a lot of apartment complexes nearby and are much cheaper than on campus living

Off-Campus Dining: Lots of mexican food around and they usually offer discounts for students. Lots of variety around campus but very few open 24/7.
