5 College Freshman

Parking: Very few issues with parking. The dorm lots only fill up around 11pm on weeknights, and rarely is it an issue. There's plenty of spaces all over campus.

4 College Freshman

Parking: Permits do not cost a lot and the parking is very close to the dorms. The need for a car on campus is minimal as everything is walking/biking distance, but it is good if you need to go to the city on weekends. There is always parking available.

4 College Sophomore

Parking: The parking is decent, there are always places to park and pretty close by to everything. I dont think security is to strict when visitors come about decals.

5 College Freshman

Parking: There is absolutely no need for a car on campus. The buildings are close together, and the dorms are only a few-minutes walk from the academic area of campus. There is no cost for parking, and there are plenty of parking spots on campus.

3 College Freshman

Parking: Not a Lot of Demand – There's plenty of parking around the dorms/student union, and with a small amount of students actually having cars, the competition for spaces isn't too harsh. Also, everything's within walking distance.

Parking and permits at Ave Maria are basically hassle-free. The process by which students attain a parking permit is remarkably easy. In addition, the permits are free. As far as the parking itself is concerned, the search for a space never really lasts too long. Since there are so few students, spaces are never entirely filled up at the dorms or buildings. The only time parking may be difficult to come by is when there is an event going on in town. If that's the case, however, there isn't a real need to go in a car since the town is literally right across the street from campus.

Campus security is pretty fair with enforcement, and since there is abundant parking, there isn't any real need to break parking rules, so students don't generally run into ticketing problems. Overall, Ave Maria parking is generally a relatively painless experience for students.

The application process is extremely simple. All students have to do is fill out the form provided by the school and turn it into Security. After Security receives and processes the application (a matter of days, if that), the students' license plates will be on the campus security list, and that's it!
