Overall Experience: My first was not as great as it could have been.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I have met a lot of people who have made me enjoy the school more. The campus is very clean. Staff is awesome. The campus has great security.

Off-Campus Dining: Off campus dining is the best! We just got a Cook-out a block away and its less than $5.00 for a full meal! There is an awesome pizza place right across the street. Everything is within walking or driving distance. I loved getting to go out to eat at Steak and Shake or Olive Garden. Waffle Houses are around every corner as well as Sonic.

Campus Housing: The best thing about living on campus, is the proximity to class and library. The cost was a little high, but well worth not seeing a single bug the whole year. The atmosphere was very fun for a first year freshman. Being close to your class makes it easier when you have breaks or need to grab food at night. Parking is perfect for those living on campus because you always have a spot. With living on campus comes with its downs though, you aren't aloud to have opposite gender over after hours or cook with a crock-pot. Candles are prohibited. It is an alcohol free campus so for those over the age of 21, they can not drink. Over all living on campus was fun and I enjoyed it very much.

Off-Campus Housing: I have not lived off campus but I currently have lease for next year off campus. The rates are cheaper than on campus and are still within walking distance to classes and food.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: I'm apart of Greek life and there are not any unless you are personally invited and you have to be about the age of 21 to drink. Unless you know the right people there aren't many parties. Austin Peay is a dry campus and every where else you must be the age of 21 to drink and that rule is strictly enforced.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: Campus strictness is very strict but on the wrong people. Campus police are more likely to get onto those who do not cause disturbances than those who do. Housing is a joke. No one is on the same page and they are very hard to communicate with, Once again make sure you go see them!! Police can be hard to deal with if you are not careful. I had a friends car get food thrown on it and we called the police about it and they said sorry about it. Parking tickets are very strict its ridiculous!

Campus Food: Campus food is amazing, there is a great variety so you do not have to eat the same thing each day. The cafe is not the best on campus but it is all you can eat in one setting. You can use your meals on snacks and drinks. The only downer was not being able to use more than three meals a day. Also the food is over priced. A Lunchable at Walmart is one dollar but on campus is $3.50. The best place is the Zona mexican food, it may cost over a meal but it is well worth it.

Scholarships: Remember to file as soon as possible, and if you have any questions call or go to the office, do not email. When it comes to your money being serious and focus on what needs to be done.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Austin Peay isn't really known for sports. Our teams aren't the best and I don't know anyone that's actually attended the games.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: I generally leave campus for lunch simply because its usually cheaper and there are way more options.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: The financial aid office is pretty great. They'll talk to you and help with whatever they can. Just make sure that you fill out the FASFA on time!

3 College Junior

Campus Food: I honestly don't eat on campus very often. I find myself driving off campus and using my student ID to get discounts instead. It's quite a bit cheaper that way.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: There are always police patrolling campus. There is a health clinic. I used it once. It is okay.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Basketball is very popular and a lot of students go to those games. Baseball and soccer aren't as popular. Everyone is very negative toward our football team. I like going to the games but we never win so it is kind of depressing.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I don't know much about it.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are so many nice restuarants around campus. They are close to

4 College Freshman

Administration: They like to talk about how strict they are but I don't think they really own up to it.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: I don't think there is enough variety of places to eat on campus. I find myself so tired of subway and the terrace that I would rather go out and eat off campus. It is almost impossible to eat healthy on this campus. All of the fruits in the cafe are old and disgusting along with the lettuce used for salads. Einsteins is the best place to get anything remotely healthy but you'll run out of plus dollars before midterms if you eat there too much. The Peay Pod and Knight Stand only sell candy. This campus makes sure that Freshman 15 is not a myth.

Campus Housing: Living on campus has its ups and downs. The dorms are very nice, however they are kind of far from all of the other buildings on campus. We had about 40 fire drills this past year and a handful of them were caused by technical problems which is just redicuolous. The cost of living in these dorms was pretty high.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: I would be a lot happier with more options. Subway is always great, I eat it probably once a day on average. The cafe is good most of the time, but some days everything is disgusting and is a waste of a meal. The terrace is occasionally good, but most of the time is very disappointing.

Campus Housing: I really enjoyed living on campus this year. I lived in the newest building, built in 2013, so it was very nice compared to some of the other housing buildings. I had my own bathroom to share with my roommate and it was fairly spacious for being a dorm room. Very satisfied.

Off-Campus Housing: Not many good housing selections near the campus. Madison street is notorious for crime and poverty.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are many good places to eat right off campus.
