Campus Resources: The campuses usually look pretty clean. I haven't made use of any athletic centers. I'm not really involved with campus activities. The Library looks resourceful but I had trouble finding videos that I needed to watch for an online class. I tried to get help from the Librarian and she was very helpful though we still couldn't locate the materials. Turned out that the link to stream them was broken but that was fixed by my professor.

Campus Resources: I haven't had a need to print anything on campus. Sometimes I'll connect my phone to the WiFi and it seems to work well enough

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education I get for the value is definitely worth it. I feel challenged and I've learned a lot.

Academic Flexibility: All of my professors have been very personable. They usually make a point to meet with each student individually to talk about what they intend to get out of the class or why they're there. If I need help with anything they're always willing to offer assistance in any way they can.

Academic Experience: Online classes with minimum campus visits are great for a creative writing major. It allows me to focus almost entirely on reading, then writing, which serves as a great insight into the life of my chosen career path.

Academic Experience: My professors are very helpful, knowledgeable, and use class formats that fit very well with my personality. The curriculum is of the highest quality. It allows me to fulfill the goal of college, which is to expand myself. Once a student has been initially admitted, it's easy to find and register for sections online. My only complaint is that this convenience is neutralized for Early College Start students, who have to drive to a campus before every semester, in order to remove an automatically placed hold on their account by submitting a new hard copy form with the names of the free classes to be taken. Not only does this form have to be signed by an academic adviser, but to take more than two free classes in a semester, another form must be submitted and signed by the Dean of Student Services. Like most colleges, the workload is determined by a combination of which classes you take and which instructors you take them from. I choose to take the maximum number of classes that I feel I'll be able to enjoy while earning an "A" in all of them. Though some may still consider online classes to be a "special study option", it's just as common as classroom learning at Austin Community College. This format works very well for me, as distance learning always has.

Academic Flexibility: I can't imagine a more flexible school than ACC. Online classes allow me to have whatever schedule I want. I simply cannot conceive of a more convenient school that maintains a great quality of instruction and course material.

Campus Quality: At Austin Community College, post-secondary education in viewed in very practical terms. Most Programs focus on jumping straight into the workforce after only two years of school, personally improving oneself for two years, or transferring cheaply earned credit to a four year university. It's focus on efficiency and universal use by the immediate community make it very affordable. From my perspective, its structure and operation is characteristic of a fiscally conservative government, whose goal is to supply the Austin metro area with two years of affordable college education. However, even as a creative writing major, this doesn't bother me. The school, faculty, and student body are focused on every semester's classes, as am I.

Campus Resources: I only visit my local campus to take tests and register for Early College Start classes. I'm always able to accomplish these tasks efficiently and with satisfaction. Everything in all the school libraries are digitized on a media server, the contents of which can be accessed from anywhere. I'm able to get what I want when I need it, allowing me to maintain focus on the content of the classes themselves.

Online Courses: The online classes I've taken so far are wonderful. They are mostly self-paced, with only a very small amount of time spent on campus. The course material is very straightforward. My professors are minimalists when it come to communication, but are always available to grade my assignments and answer necessary questions. Hard work is all that's required for an "A" in every class.

Student Body: As it's intended to serve the entire local community, Austin Community College is incredibly diverse, and seems to contain every demographic that I'm aware exists in the area.

Academic Flexibility: There are many facilities to study at and several classes to choose from so it makes it easy being able to find available classes.

Academic Experience: Of course it all depends on your professor. Most of them are great and understanding if you have some life event that gets in the way. Registration is pretty easy and if you have a hard time you can chat with someone to resolve your issues.

Campus Resources: They have all the resources that I have needed to be able to attend and excel in my classes.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I can bring my kindle and usb keyboard to class, log in to the network with my student id, and am able to take notes and reference anything the professor suggests would be worth reviewing due to the reliability and speed of the campuss network. Last week in my continuing education class my professor forgot to print his handouts so he was able to email them to those of us who had laptops or tablets so we could follow along with him.

Online Courses: It allows me to take classes without having to take time off of work or sit in traffic. Most of the professors are quick to respond to questions and are willing to help if you show that you are dedicated.
