3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: People here are fake, they talk badly behind your back, they lie to your face, they are rude, and they are cliquey. They don't take into consideration other people's backgrounds or beliefs.

Guys & Girls: Students at Augustana are just like students any where else.

Guys & Girls: 1:4 male:female ratio is not a joke. There was a fraternity party I went to with a guy friend and three other girls so that he could get free drinks for bringing more girls to the party.Guys seem more so the athletic type and into partying, so...not my type. We do have a diverse amount of guys, but I've yet to meet any "nerds" or "the artsy type". But definitely more a "hooking up" feel than a relationship feel to the campus. Ladies, if you want to date, good. f***ing. luck. Also must be said that we have a lot of attractive gingers. Just what everyone says - I think that's what we're supposedly 'known for', after the major surplus of girls, of course.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Guys rate girls on a specific 1-10 scale that is two points lower than real life. It's called the "Augie Scale." For example, if a girl is a 6 at Augie, she's a 4 anywhere else. Personally, i think guys should have the same scale there. Many of the people who attend school at Augie are wealthy kids from the suburbs of Chicago. They have an attitude about them that says they'll go far in life because they have Mom and Dad's money to pay for school and can party all they want because of this. Relationships are immature because guys don't want to be tied down and each sex has fidelity issues. Many girls stay with their boyfriends from home throughout college while guys stay single, rarely dating.

Guys & Girls: We all dress and act decent and participate in charity events, and social gatherings.
