Health & Safety: There is a Department of Public Safety.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Since campus is in the middle of the city. I do not feel safe walking outside after dark. Thankfully Department of Public Safety is close and willing to walk or drive students.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Campus is very safe. Maybe a few spots on the edge of campus are a little sketchy but overall the security with using DPS is very helpful and safe.

2 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I know it's harsh to stereotype, but the neighborhood surrounding Augsburg is not considered the safest. It is best for people, especially female-identified individuals, to stay in groups when going off campus, especially over the bridge to the University of Minnesota.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: DPS isn't necessarily the best campus security in the world, but they will pick you up and drive you to and from the transit stations during non daylight hours which is decent. Residence Life always tells people to be vigilant and lock doors and such.
