Technology: There are many places to use computers provided by the college. My favorite place is the Linux lab where all the computers are running the Linux/Ubuntu operating system.

Majors: I entered college undecided and unclear. If I could, I would redo everything and try to start taking courses, within my major, right away so that I would be able to take as many classes, related to my major, as I could. But I am happy. It didn't take me very long to figure out my major and design my four year plan. In fact I found that I could double major because many courses, not only were within my interest range but also filled in for my major requirements for both majors. But because life isn't perfect, I will find myself facing problems as I get closer to graduation.

Diversity: For the past year and a half, the first thing I noticed was that the number of color students pretty closely match with the number of white students. I would say the ratio could be every two/three Caucasian to one student of color. Then again the school values the diversity of persons and perspectives.

Academics: the academics offered is good. There might be work loaded sometimes depending on major but there are many tips provided and help like SI secessions. the professors are easy to talk to and helpful if approached with problem. besides the three floor library places like the student lounge and dorm lab are popular. the application process is easy and they respond quickly to questions.

Party Scene: the neighborhood it a little sketchy. you have to be careful when you go out at night. but there is transportation provided to the rail way or the bus stop. downtown is close to the school so students go there to hang out on weekends.

Campus Housing: I think it is good. it doesn't have a.c so it's hard to manage in the summer time. it has small class room sizes, small campus which is goood to get to know people has a friendly environment and very diverse.

Diversity: The reasons I love Augsburg so much is because of the diverse people and groups here. Its amazing to see so many open minded people and those who do not judge you for your sexual status or race. I truly believe everyone here at Augsburg is helping one another to be successful.

Health & Safety: Although Public Safety tries to be around, I have still gotten my bicycle stolen while it was locked on campus. There are frequent emails sent out regarding vehicle theft and rape. Very bad neighborhood for an otherwise flawless college.

Local Area: Very scary neighborhood with rampant crime and several hobos that reside too close to campus.

Off-Campus Dining: Very few options around campus, except one Jimmy Johns.

Scholarships: They have a great support network that enables you to walk through the process and know what you have to do in order to qualify for aid. All in all very smooth process, always willing to call and help you out.

5 College Junior

Majors: A large amount of choice and great advising staff to assist you in choices.

4 College Junior

Administration: Punishments are harsh but fair, the rules are explained and should be followed

Majors: Augsburg College offers a fun but challenging program for MBA students. I'm not interested in going to school because its easy. Therefore, I enjoy being challenged in all classes and having an intelligent professor available to assist in my development. All courses have textbooks which are relatively easy to understand and provide problems ranging from fairly simple to challenging. Professors will assign all types of problems to assist in each student's development in the class. Professors are also available to assist with the more difficult ones.

Greek Life: All students are treated equally at Augsburg College. I've had classes where some students are less knowledgeable in the subject being discussed than others. All students are willing to help each other out as well as the professor. If there is a part of class in which some students don't understand, the professor will go over the subject again and offer additional assistance after class if needed.

Overall Experience: Administrative Office – The MBA Administrative office at Augsburg College is amazing! The adviser, Kathy, works so hard to ensure all students are welcomed properly and enjoys chatting about everyday life. The office is also always stocked with soda and water available to all MBA students as they attend class at night. Its a sigh of relief to have much needed Caffeine right before a four hour class after you've worked all day!

Diversity: Augsburg college strives to be an equal opportunity college. There is no discrimination. The college is extremely open to diversity which I find a great quality for the school to possess.

4 College Junior

Academics: Resource Accessibility – Augsburg College has various resources available to students at almost any hour of the day. The library allows students to study virtually any subject known to man while computer labs are located around various parts of the college for easy access to students taking classes in different buildings. Another convenience about these computer labs is both Mac and PC computers are available for use to all students. This provides students with a variety of options when accessing these two completely different types of computers.

Academics: Professors Assist in Professional Development – Augsburg College is equipped with various knowledgeable professors that are always interested in helping students succeed professionally. One course the MBA program offers is the Consulting Project. Essentially, you are teamed up with a couple other students to do consulting work for a company in our community. This gives students a hands on experience and assistance from the professor in providing efficient and effective consulting work to various types of companies.

Drug Safety: Drugs and Alcohol Are Fairly Common – Usage of drugs and alcohol is fairly common, however peer pressure is not. The students that use drugs and alcohol mostly had experience with them before coming to college. Drug policy is well enforced, and few students manage to use drugs and alcohol without being caught at least once.

3 College Senior

Local Area: Bittersweet but Home – Great atmosphere but often not as safe just blocks from campus.

3 College Senior

Academics: Could Be Better – I wish I had considered more schools. Augsburg offers some great academics, but for the cost I do not believe it's reasonable. Some of my professors are excellent people to learn from, but I have not been pushed to learn and they have halted instruction to make sure the whole class understands.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Many Options – Augsburg is perfectly placed on the outskirts of downtown, so you have many different options for off-campus housing. Believe it or not but many are affordable

3 College Sophomore

Academics: It's Unique – The blend of psychology and law is something that I never thought about before coming to Augsburg. Being a psychology and law major sets me apart from the basic psych or criminal justice major. I feel like I'm being given a significant advantage.

2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Not Great – Overall, scholarshiops are hard to come by at Augsburg. The college doesn't inform many students of scholarships available unless you the idea onto them. Getting specifics is even tougher, they'd rather direct to a not very helpful blog link on their page then show themselves.
