Off-Campus Dining: Off-campus dining is pretty great in Auburn. There are a variety of choices that represent a lot of different types of cuisines. I would have to say that, with the exception of a few places, off-campus dining can get very expensive. Also, most places don't have student discounts. (At least they don't openly advertise them..)

Scholarships: The financial aid process wasn't too bad for me. The only thing I would complain about is the fact that scholarships aren't reviewed per term. By this I mean that I feel like students should be able to bump up their freshman scholarship ranking by doing well and maintaining a good GPA after being enrolled in college classes.

Diversity: Auburn has an extremely diverse campus. Many international students attend and make up a fair percentage of the total student body. There is also a lot of religious diversity as well as economic diversity.

Technology: There are a lot of computers on campus, but many of them are only accessible if you belong to that specific college or major. If you are in Nursing School, for example, unless you logged onto one of the computers in the library, you would have to get an engineering or mathematics major to let you into one of their labs to use a public computer. Many of the computers are outdated, however.

Overall ExperienceWhat's this?

Overall, students are very happy to be in Auburn. They love the people around them and the experiences that they get to have.

College is what you make of it. If you sit at home and don't do anything, then you won't enjoy yourself no matter where you go. With all the options you have offered to you at Auburn, you have to try to not have a good time. And with a student body that is so happy to be here, it's also hard not to get swept up in the excitement. As always, it's a good idea to visit a college or university before making a final decision. Make sure you're as happy and comfortable as you can possibly be.
