Overall Experience: I have never been more obsessed with a school or happier in my life. If you're even considering Auburn come to a football game, walk around campus one day, go on a tour I know you will feel the Auburn community and spirit like I did. Coming from out of state I was so nervous but it was the best decision I ever made. I haven't felt homesick once. Making friends was easy because everyone is so friendly and involved. I can't say enough good things about this place. Seriously come.

Overall Experience: Haven't experienced this yet to give a fair rating

Guys & Girls: Hot guys in greek life, non greek life, athletes. A lot have girlfriends though, at least the really hot ones.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Have never felt unsafe once on Auburns campus. If you go to the med clinic for a note to get out of class with a fake illness they will probably tell you you have mono though.

Greek Life: Greek life here is great! Not a make or break experience but but coming from out of state it helped my transition so much. I have met my best friends through it as well as kept up with my grades, become involved around campus and met amazing people in other houses through it. Going through rush was fun and there is absolutely no hazing for sororities.

Athletics: Football, baseball, basketball, gymnastics, swimming I have been to every single event and love them all. They are such a big and fun thing to do around campus and get to see the Auburn Family.

Off-Campus Housing: Have never tried living off campus but there are a ton of options

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Tons of good places, have inexpensive and nice places!

Administration: Never need to check people into dorms- kind of concerning if you think about it but also never a hassle. There is basically no such thing as RA's there will be random room checks for alcohol and candles but you pretty much always know when they're coming and can prepare for them.

Party Scene: Honestly I love Auburn's party scene. In the fall and spring there are a ton of band and themed parties frats have which girls can always get into and sometimes guys. Country and rap artists will come play and all throughout the year frats will have themed date functions and parties just not as often in the middle. Wednesday, Friday, Saturday there has never been a time where downtown is empty. Wednesday and Friday's especially are unreal here. Pretty much any bar will take you under and the atmosphere is so much fun.

Scholarships: Was granted a scholarship- didn't pay for my whole tuition but it put a dent in it.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: You learn what to eat quickly. The freshman 15 is real and if you're not making conscious decisions about what you're eating it'll catch up with you. Learn about how to eat right before coming to campus and you'll be fine. The Wellness Kitchen is expensive if you're not an athlete but so worth it. ABP and Go Greek also have good healthy options as well as Plains to Plate. Just find the stuff that tastes good and is good for you.

Campus Housing: Honestly, the hill sucks because the buildings are so old and I swear you get everyones illnesses through these vents but the rooms are big. It isn't far from classes don't let that scare you from it. The quad rooms are small but you literally walk outside your dorm and are at your class. The benefit of the hill is the majority of freshman live here because there are the most buildings so whenever you're going out or just hanging out everyone will come to you because the majority of your friends will live here.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Some dorms are really far away from campus while others are in the middle. The nicer dorms are farther but are still in a good location.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Like everything at Auburn, it is not great nor bad.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Some sororities are quite snobby.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: All Auburn cares about is football.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Depends where you live and what you're looking for.

2 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There aren't many places to eat off campus and they are all unhealthy.

3 College Freshman

Administration: RA's are very lenient in the dorms. One of my friends who lives in the Hill hasn't even met her RA.

4 College Freshman

Party Scene: You can go downtown on Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday nights and there are always people downtown at the bars.

College Freshman

Scholarships: I do not have a scholarship.

2 College Freshman

Campus Food: All the food on campus is expensive and after you eat it, it will upset your stomach.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The worst amenities of living in the Hill is definitley how far it is from the center of campus and how gross it is.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: Everything revolves around Auburn sports here. The football team are local celebrities and every sport event is attended.

Overall, students are very happy to be in Auburn. They love the people around them and the experiences that they get to have.

College is what you make of it. If you sit at home and don't do anything, then you won't enjoy yourself no matter where you go. With all the options you have offered to you at Auburn, you have to try to not have a good time. And with a student body that is so happy to be here, it's also hard not to get swept up in the excitement. As always, it's a good idea to visit a college or university before making a final decision. Make sure you're as happy and comfortable as you can possibly be.
