Overall Experience: I have yet to actually start classes, but from the times I have been on the campus I can honestly say that I am really happy with my decision. Auburn University really has this air of family that I have heard so much about and it has academic standards that I soon hope to uphold. Overall, my choice for Auburn is one that I am sure will bring me great happiness and success.

Overall Experience: After the initial "away from home" period, it has been very good. I like the school and it's professors. The people have been great in small but appreciative ways, like when walking to class in the rain once, a campus employee stopped to give me his umbrella. That small but kind gesture made me love it here even more.

Overall Experience: A lot of factors went into my decision to attend Auburn University. But what convinced me in the end was the overall environment that the school has - from the small town to the campus, students and faculty, Auburn is a great place to attend. I have rarely encountered professors that I disliked or had serious complaints about the school. I highly recommend getting a degree from Auburn!

Overall Experience: I don't love my university, but I don't hate it either

Overall Experience: Auburn is a great school, where everyone is very friendly and has a lot of school pride, and the traditions and incredible sports teams are a plus. However, being from out of state (several states to the north - I came here because it is a top school for my major) it sometimes feels as if you are less-than the students who are from in-state. Additionally, as it is a very southern school, if you are not extremely "southern" it is hard to fit in. About 90% of the students are basically the same - there isn't much diversity not only in culture but also in personality, lifestyle, and the way they dress. The student body is generally very (southern) religious, and if you aren't it can be difficult. As far as social and nightlife goes, people claim Auburn is a party school but I would beg to differ. There is the occasional fraternity party, but otherwise people go to one of the 5 bars downtown every night, which can get old. The town is cute and quaint with just about all you could need, but small and basically in the middle of nowhere, which can get boring fast. Coming from a larger city it was a hard adjustment. The academics are relatively good - some classes are extremely easy, and others are very difficult. It generally depends on what professors you have. Overall, if you fit the mold, I can see how Auburn can be a great place to go to for college. But if you do not, it may be difficult to get the most out of your college experience, which is why I am transferring next year.

Overall Experience: I love Auburn. My first visit to campus, I knew immediately that it was the school for me. The campus is beautiful, the atmosphere is great, and the people are, too. So many amazing things have happened in the short time I've been at Auburn, I couldn't tell you what my favorite was. One of the best things about Auburn, that I think is also fairly unique is that we call ourselves "the Auburn Family," implying of course that anyone who goes to Auburn is part of a close knit community.

Overall Experience: It cost way to much for the mediocre education that is provided. High school teachers are more qualified than the ones employed by the university. No scholarship opportunities toward out-of-state students, but full ride scholarships for in-state students with below average GPA and none to minimal extracurriculars.

Overall Experience: I think my experience at Auburn University has been overall a really great one. I sometimes wish I had tried more AP classes in high school, or that I had a better idea of what I wanted to do. But, I've learned a lot, and the town is beautiful. I wouldn't trade this college experience for another one.

Overall Experience: My overall experience at Auburn University is great. The traditions Auburn holds are traditions that will last a lifetime. My favorite experience at Auburn is the football games. Auburn also is an amazing place to meet people from all over the world, as well as gives students the opportunity to go all over the world to further their studies. Auburn, however, is one on the hardest Universities giving the experience here a four out of five star rating.

Overall Experience: School politics are consistent with the general state of affairs in modern higher education. Although they're not alone in what they do, it doesn't make it any better that other institutions have similar methods.

Overall Experience: Auburn University is as deeply rooted in tradition as it comes. Not a single moment passes where you don't feel like a part of the Auburn family. I am so grateful to be a student in such a phenomenal and prestigious school. I would choose Auburn over and over without ever questioning my choices. This school is genuinely as good as it comes.

Overall Experience: Auburn is a great place. The academics are strong and both the College of Science of Math and the College of Agriculture have amazing professors. I definitely picked the best state school in the south!

Overall Experience: Great university for the full college experience of academics, athletics, and social events. Full of school spirit where almost everything revolves around football. Excellent faculty and administration that are more than willing to aid you on your path to success. However, the student body is not very diverse.

Overall, students are very happy to be in Auburn. They love the people around them and the experiences that they get to have.

College is what you make of it. If you sit at home and don't do anything, then you won't enjoy yourself no matter where you go. With all the options you have offered to you at Auburn, you have to try to not have a good time. And with a student body that is so happy to be here, it's also hard not to get swept up in the excitement. As always, it's a good idea to visit a college or university before making a final decision. Make sure you're as happy and comfortable as you can possibly be.
