Campus Housing

Campus Housing: Living on campus has been great. I currently live in the commons which is the best bang for my buck. The room size is plenty for one person, great view from room, and parking is great. Another perk is laundry is free when you live on campus.

Campus Housing: The live on campus is very good. They are more like apartments rather than dorms which is a good thing.

Campus Housing: As of what I have seen of the dorms on campus they are really nice and I have only heard good things about them, but I don't have a personal opinion about them because I don't stay on campus.

Campus Housing: Last year, I stayed in a 4 bedroom dorm, where each of us had a private bedroom. Two of us were on one side of the room with a bathroom and the other two were on the other side with their bathroom. Together, we shared a kitchen and living area. This particular dorm is named The Commons. There are seven floors with one washing a drying station for the entire building. There are enough washers and dryers to share. On each floor, there is a living area with a TV. My floor found this extremely handy when watching a show that we all enjoyed. The cost for this is average. The second dorm is called Warhawk Hall. There are three, two, and one bedroom options. All include a private bedroom and one bathroom, which a shared kitchen and living area. Because this is our newest dorm, it is a little expensive but not to horrible. These are a lot nicer since, of course, they are newer. On each floor, there is a washer and dryer. The third housing option is where I am currently residing in. It is called The Courtyards. These dorms offer two bedroom apartments with a kitchen. There are also semi-private rooms available, which have two private bedrooms that hold two beds. The last option is a private bedroom. The room is set up exactly like the two bedroom apartment but are for only one person. This is the option I am currently housed in. The price for these are all different depending on what option you chose but are less expensive than the other two dorms because they are much older. Housing is set up similar to how you register for classes. It is a first come, first serve style. If the dorm you are wanting is not available, AUM Housing will put you on a waiting list to ensure that you're needs are met.
