Campus Housing: As of what I have seen of the dorms on campus they are really nice and I have only heard good things about them, but I don't have a personal opinion about them because I don't stay on campus.

Greek Life: Greek life is not held very high, many students do not even know how to join a sorority or faternity because of how little they are.

Athletics: Student involvement for sporting events can be difficult because many students don't attend any events. AUM does not have a football team so that really cancels out a lot of students from wanting to go to an event because football is one of the most important sports in the south. The teams perform well together and seem to reallycare about one another. I always see members of the soccer team hanging out together talking or studying. The school shows some spirit when it comes to sports but its not held to a high importance. There are plenty of soccer fields and baseball fields that surround the school for student to use; sometimes high school students even use the fields to play their games. The school also has a really nice gym that was built recently full of nice equipment and a lot of classes for students to choose from so that they can become active and relieve some stress. Overall, the school could use a little more spirit from the students when it comes to sportine events.

Overall Experience: AUM overall is a good school that is well organized with teachera that really care about the students even after the students are no longer in their class. I love how all the students and employees are friendly and easy to approach. My advisor is really helpful when it comes to helping me figure out the way my class schedule needs to be and what courses to take without having me feel overwhelmed with the all the workload. Sometimes the workload can be tough, but it is something that as a college student I had to figure out how to balance everything while still managing to get a good grade in the class. I really enjoy all the student activites that are available even though there are only a few. The school is close to my home and has a lot of great features with many opportunities not only for students that are from the U.S. but also students that are international. I also like how all my professors will e-mail me back with a response to any of my questions as quickly as they can, as well as how flexible they are if I need to meet up with them for tutoring. My favorite part of AUM thought is the ISL lab that is available to students for help along with the library. If I could change one thing about the school it would be the amount of parking that is available for students; there aren't enough spots. I would say that AUM is a great university and I would go back to this school again because of all of the great opportunities they have as well as the amazing staff.

Health & Safety: AUM Campus Police are always one the parol here on campus. They patrol the dorms and the overall campus to ensure that everything is going well. Not only do they care about the students, they care about the students' parents. They understand that a parent may worry about their child while attending college away from home. At every new student orientation, each student is given the AUM Campus Police phone number to save in their phone in case they are caught in an emergency situation. If a student is afraid to walk back to their car alone, one of the officers will walk with you. Safety is there number one concern and they do a great job protecting the campus.

Overall Experience: So far, I have enjoyed all of my professors. They are always prepared for class and have an agenda set up in order to teach us the material the best way they can. Of course, it is college so studying is apart of class. Some courses include labs such as foreign languages, math, and sciences that requires extra work outside of class time. When registering for classes, seniors register first and freshman register last. If some classes are filled by the time some students are able to register, some department heads will offer new classes or allow more students to enroll in that specific class. Before registering, all students meet with their advisor to help ensure that students are on the right track and are registering for the correct classes. Class sizes are smaller than other schools. The largest number of students one class can have is 80, and classes rarely reach full capacity. Our student to teacher ratio is 16:1.

Overall Experience: Each student is offered a program called Warhawk Careers. It is located on the students personal AUM site. This helps students find jobs not only on campus, but off campus as well. You can also search for any internships for your major. Most of your departments will send emails to notify students of any internships that have become available. AUM also holds career fairs each semester which helps students meet employers and get information on jobs in the surrounding areas, was well as internships. All new students take an orientation class called University 1000. In each class, the student participates in a career path center that helps show the student their individual strengths and weaknesses to help them discover the right career path. This is what ultimately helped me discover a major in Communications.

Campus Housing: Last year, I stayed in a 4 bedroom dorm, where each of us had a private bedroom. Two of us were on one side of the room with a bathroom and the other two were on the other side with their bathroom. Together, we shared a kitchen and living area. This particular dorm is named The Commons. There are seven floors with one washing a drying station for the entire building. There are enough washers and dryers to share. On each floor, there is a living area with a TV. My floor found this extremely handy when watching a show that we all enjoyed. The cost for this is average. The second dorm is called Warhawk Hall. There are three, two, and one bedroom options. All include a private bedroom and one bathroom, which a shared kitchen and living area. Because this is our newest dorm, it is a little expensive but not to horrible. These are a lot nicer since, of course, they are newer. On each floor, there is a washer and dryer. The third housing option is where I am currently residing in. It is called The Courtyards. These dorms offer two bedroom apartments with a kitchen. There are also semi-private rooms available, which have two private bedrooms that hold two beds. The last option is a private bedroom. The room is set up exactly like the two bedroom apartment but are for only one person. This is the option I am currently housed in. The price for these are all different depending on what option you chose but are less expensive than the other two dorms because they are much older. Housing is set up similar to how you register for classes. It is a first come, first serve style. If the dorm you are wanting is not available, AUM Housing will put you on a waiting list to ensure that you're needs are met.

Greek Life: I joined a sorority my freshman year, and I can unfortunately say that I chose the wrong one. I decided to drop my sorority after this year's recruitment. I had a horrible experience with the sorority. I was not only bullied, but was also in a way "hazed" by being different and having different opinions when compared to the overall majority. This specific sorority was not focused on the true purpose of the sorority's existence, and was instead focused on how they could outdo the other two on campus. However, not all sororities or fraternities on campus are like that. I made some amazing friends who were members in the other two sororities. Since I was not able to join another sorority because of my membership, the two sororities treat me as one of their own. Non-Greeks view those in Greek life differently when it comes to what chapter a person is apart of. Greeks do not understand that outsiders can see past their outside appearance and can easily spot out problems that a Greek organization may have. We do not have Greek houses on campus, therefore, Greeks do not throw parties on campus grounds.

Overall Experience: Auburn University of Montgomery was my top choice. When I first applied, I was registered as an undergraduate nursing major. Being able to talk and feel so comfortable when approaching different faculty members, helped me really discover what my interests are which ultimately led me to changing from a Nursing major to a Communications major. My professors that I have had so far are so helpful and encouraging. I have no doubts when it comes to being prepared for my future.

Health & Safety: I always feel very safe on campus.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Most of all my classes and professors were good. I've had a couple of bumps in the road though.

Campus Housing: I absolutely love living on campus! I live in Warhawk Hall, very spacious and nice. Practically a mini apartment.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: Not big on the Greek life. I don't know much about it.

3 College Junior

Athletics: I've only attended basketball games. Not many people show up but the people who are there have lots of school spirit!

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: My experience at AUM has been awesome! I made friends really fast, and the professors are amazing and helpful. The campus events are always fun!

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: It's okay but aum not really big on sports

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It was a good overall experience

4 College Senior

Diversity: Diversity seems to be encouraged

Academics: Most of the professors are wonderful. I do however feel that the way foreign language is taught should be changed. It is ridiculous to have students do homework before topics are discussed in class.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I have enjoyed attending this school. For the most part, I feel I have received a good education.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: I hear that the school of business is very good. I don't really feel the school does very much too help students get s job after graduation.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: I haven't had any problem with health or security.

3 College Senior

Campus Housing: I didn't use the housing so I really can't say how it was.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: I didn't participate in Greek life. I can say that it didn't seem as important as it does at many schools, but they were trying hard to improve it.
