Student Body: The school body at my school is not diverse at all. The student body is one hundred percent African American, mostly adults that are returning to school for in change in their career. Most students are from low-income homes and community and receive many grants and loans from the government. I come from a middle class home and community and I am not able to pay for school out of pocket and I do not receive government assistance.

Campus Resources: The computer network is awesome, it never crash or anything.

Campus Resources: My school is unique because the LPN program is only fifteen months. It's expensive but it's worth the cost, because there is no waiting list.

Student Body: THERE ARE A LOT OF NICE AND SMART STUDENTS AT ATS AND THERE ARE THE ONES WHO ARE NOT SP NICE

Academic Flexibility: They are not very good with financial assistance in regards to finding programs to help students with outside resources for financial assistance. also there are not many financial aid advisors to help you they are terrible at letting you know ahead of time what you need to do with classes, financial aid etc. The teachers are very helpful in this last semester. You must be proactive when attending this school

Career Services: Most of the students who have previously graduated have sustaining jobs

3 Recent Alumnus

Student Body: Most of the students at my school are struggling single mothers who can not afford full tuition. Some do have full and part time jobs but mostly they have a hard time. They are there to sustain a future so they can take care of their families.

Campus Resources: The wonderful thing about our school is that we always have access to the use of computers and we never have to come out of pocket to pay for printing. There are enough computers so far and it is very convenient for those whom doesn't have a computer at home.

Academic Experience: Due to work overload it sometimes is a little overwhelming to students but I feel when we all graduate it will surly pay off.the curriculum is very hard but what could you possible expect In a fast based program.

Academic Experience: The professors are very involved with the students. I personally think they are great. Like I stated before, they go over and beyond to help us students succeed.

Campus Resources: The professors are wonderful and is very willing to help you way more than they are expected to do. The hiding fees and under the table activity is not fair nor legal but as private school they are able to do what they please. If I could grade the professors without a doubt they would all( the ones whom I have this semester) would receive an A.

Campus Resources: When you do get a chance to work on the computer it can be slow, or you can't concentrate because everyone is talking instead of working. The printer is always broke or out of paper. We can't log on with our personal computers because they will not give us the password to connect.

Campus Resources: We have no athletic center. The computer lap holds only 8-10 students at a time. The library has no books or references available.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: It was difficult because we were charged with extra fees for services that we did not receive.

Campus Resources: The instructors are great! They really want to see us succeed. The owners are more about the money then seeing young black people succeed.

Academic Experience: These reviews Must be fake because I have yet to meet a single student whovis happy with this school!!! They will lie, cheat, and raise the tuition on you while changing the rules to make it o.k. This school is VERY unorganized and all of the faculty have different information.Good luck getting help at this school once they have your money! And the "library" its just a room with 4 computers and NO books.. They also hold loud tuturing sessions in this library so how can you actually study?

Overall Experience: Very Satisfied – The instructors are very knowledgeable. The course work coincides with each class, so were being taught the same information in different ways. This teaching technique helps the information we need to learn become embedded in our brains!!

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Who Wants to Be Here – The professors where always telling the students, they where going to have to change there life to be in this program. in a way trying to scare the students straight. But it work it was very striaght forward whichwas what I needed, being a single parent also head of household going back to school was more than a notion but with the serious insructors it made you stay on track knowing this is where I wanted to be.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Still New – ATS is a school of nursing. They allowed Math and English transfer, only if you got a B or better. The school here in Chicago is very new, so there's still a lot of work that needs to be done

1 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Extremely Expensive – The school is extremely expensive and there's no other resources other than financial aid. They're not approved for a lot of grants such as the Map grant, work study, and little to no student loan.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: WIFI and Printing – At ATS you receive a print account with 1500 pages per semester, Plenty of computers with internet for student usage. wifi is available for students with personal computers as well.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Challenging Curriculum – Ats is based on testing. The program is not a piece of cake. You will work for your grade!

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Fast Paced and Challenging – Academics at ATS are great. Beginning the first day of class all rules and expectations are placed before you. There are no surprises when it comes to what is expected. Class registration is painless although the first week of school is hectic in regards to scheduling times.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: ATS Highland Heights, OH – I am a current first semester student at ATS. ATS is a great school thus far. the faculty are very helpful and knowledgeable. The setting is quiet and offers students a peaceful learning environment. Classes are small and help is always available. If a staff member doesn't know the answer to your question, they will find out for you expeditiously. My school is unique because at ATS you are known by name and not a number.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: I transferred to ATS from a different Nursing school when I needed something to better fit my schedule, I was coming from day classes to start night classes. Since then, night classes have been cancelled at ATS. This has changed my experience, some for the better and some for the worst. What I can say about ATS confidently is this: I have learned alot about myself from this school. I have learned about what kind of nurse I want to be and how to push myself in learning and obtaining the most from my expensive program. I've learned to be resourceful and how to take things that I've learned and apply them. This school has undergone a lot of different changes in the past year. We've had a new D.O.N who has come in and taken over and tried to turn the school into what it could be. ATS has a bad reputation but it isn't because of the teachers, the teachers here really show care to the students who want to succeed, who want to learn, and who want to be nurses. You'll find yourself amongst a group of poorly educated students who find more promise and interest in talking during classes, spreading rumors and gossiping as if this is highschool, but if you can remain cool, calm and collected, if you can stand apart from this crowd...you'll do great. ATS is a school that gives everyone an opportunity and as long as you use that to your advantage and not as a free-bee through life? You'll get the most out of this education as you would at any other 2-year program.
