Right now I am a pre-nursing student. I am working on my prerequisite courses and general education requirements of the nursing program. So far I have complete all my prerequisite courses and I am working on the general classes for the program. Therefore I cannot comment on the nursing courses as I have not started them yet. However, so far the program has been a great experience. I have been taking my classes 2 or 3 at a time and the workload has been significant but doable. There are a ton of resources to take advantage of, which I highly recommend for nursing students, such as tutoring. GPA is super important in this program so you need to get A's! It is a very demanding program, so I only recommend it to students who can dedicate a lot of time to their studies.

It is a hard decision to pick a specific major, because people do not want to waste money or their time. But once they find the right major that fits best for them, everything is smooth sailing. I am currently ending my freshman year of college and it is difficult for most who struggle balancing school with their personal life. The staff is really helpful, after class or whenever they are willing to guide and tutor you one on one. In the library there are workshops for Math and English, students can walk in anytime and there will be a tutor there to help.

A lot of students go to class and leave, but there is a set of student activities and clubs available that can enrich your experience. You have to also put effort into getting involved or making new friends, as the campus life is not as pervasive as other colleges. Be sure to be well-acquainted and communicative with your advisor and ask them for which teachers are best and it's better to sit down with them to apply for classes. There are scholarship opportunities as well and an eof program, you just have to look into them.

Overall, it boils down to what you put into the experience. It's a plus that the classes are very cheap.
