Academic Experience: The academics offered at my school varies from art to business. There is a limited amount of programs to choose from but my academic experience has been a good one.

4 College Junior

Student Body: The school body is good, the student diversity is the most powerful one and you don't really have religious issues everything works fine with me

4 College Junior

Career Services: The quality of post grad services works very good and they have a good helpful services

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I have enjoyed most of my classes taken so far. The work is relatable and heavily impacts my learning. Work load is always dependent on the teacher and specific study options vary. The academics are usually are either illuminated r deteriorated by a professor. I have been lucky to have fantastic ones.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I've chosen liberal arts because i plan to transfer to a University. The gen-ed courses I'm taking in this degree will make for an easy transition to a school of my choice as well as save me some money.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I've never encountered those experiences. I started at the school and have always stuck with my class arrangement. Personally, I found that the curriculum in each class was expressed appropriately by professors.

3 College Junior

Student Body: The student body seems okay. I personally have not experienced negativity from a place of ignorance and disrepect but I'm sure it exists.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aide can sometimes be overwhelming for any student, but It has been okay since I've been at ACCC.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: A little slow processing paperworks in the beginning but got better.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Great professors in this community college.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: Very convenient online classes. Homeworks can be a little overwhelming but I understand that it is an online class

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Great Professors. Engaging and knowledgeable with their materials.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I have been able to work and save money while going to school. Scheduling is very flexible.

5 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have had the best experience with financial aid! I just fill out the FAFSA and basically they take care of the rest. I have a lot of financial needs so I basically have gone to school for free because I have gotten a lot of grant money. I am blessed to have had help to pay for school so far.

3 College Senior

Student Body: A lot of the students at the school are immature.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: This specific major is very helpful. I have learned a lot through some of my professors. They have given a lot of personal life stories that really help students learn and understand the materials.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Some of the professors are really great and care about students. Others are just there to collect a pay check. Most of the professors I have had are very good at teaching and take the time to explain the materials and help students who are having problems. Some of the professors I have had, however, don't care whether students understand or not and basically say "fend for yourselves". Some of the classes curriculum are very hard. For example, I had a class that the grade was based on 3 tests and 2 quizzes, leaving very little wiggle room if one doesn't do to well on a test.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: It is a community college, so there aren't a lot of things to do on campus. I do not know what they have at the Mays Landing Campus because I have only been to the Cape May Court House campus. That being said, the library is very nice and they have activities and get togethers (offering free food, free t-shirts) that I have attended and it has been really nice to be apart of that.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: Online courses are very convenient. Sometimes online courses can be self-taught, but that depends on the teacher. I have had teachers who contact students everyday and help them through the course, and I have had teachers who rely solely on the online programs and tell students to read the book and then take tests. Some online teachers require discussions between the class, which makes it feel like we are having a discussion in a regular classroom.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I majored in general studies because at the time I was unable to decide on what I wanted to do

Atlantic Cape is a very good college for students who are not quite sure what they want to do for a future career, or who cannot afford to attend an expensive four-year college. It offers a wide variety of classes on many campuses, and the campus advisers are always willing to answer questions or guide students toward a major that will work for them. Atlantic Cape professors will prepare their students for transfer to a larger college through their lessons. Most students improve their writing, math, computer, and any other skill applied to their major before transferring junior year, which gives ACCC students an edge in their new school.

Atlantic Cape Community College is unique for many reasons. It provides students with an oppurtunity to get all of their general courses, such as math, over with at a much cheaper cost than other colleges. It gives individuals returning to school after a period of time an oppurtunity that fits with their schedule and school experiences. Atlantic Cape is an overall great school to choose because it has great teachers and a good student atmosphere no matter what age, and it is close to home and convienent.
