Student Body: Most of the students I know are very serious about maintaining a "B". We work together to make sure everyone is on the same level.

Tuition & Financial Aid: They have already violated federal standards by not sending out refunds as the federal government had set the laws for a reason.

Campus Resources: This is a terrible schools, and I would never ever reccomend this to anyone.

Campus Resources: If I could give this school an F- I sure would. They are inaccurate, and very very terrible when it comes to managing anything more important then the white board. I would never reccomend this school to my worst enemy. They are a total ripoff when it comes to tuition, refund are weeks late based on federal standard.

Online Courses: The instructors are nowhere around when you need any kind of help, and when I did ask for help on a subject the instructor told me to go look in my book, and when I told her that I already had she just shook her head and walked away. Leaving me here 2 weeks later still with no idea what im doing.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Finanial Aid – The lines at the finicial aid office are unbelieveable. The lines are so long it was this semester I stood in line to talk to someone it took five hours before I spoke to someone. It seems that they need to come up with a better solution.

Academic Experience: Curriculum/ Workload – The curriculum/Workload for Dental Lab Techs is awesome. Its alot of work but its very hands on. The professors are excellent at explaining what they are teaching us for the day. After the lesson they do a review to make sure you understand. They will even do a demostration of how you are to do something and the right way to do it. The workload is heavy but they way the professors handles the curriculum so well that it all runs together.

Campus Resources: Medical Student – A great orientation and personnel always assist you with resource .

2 College Senior

Overall Experience: it seems welcoming but still reserved in the culture it tends to portray

2 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: It Has Been Ok – this school seems to be in flux as far as cooperation from the administration but it seems that they are trying to cultivate a caring attitude towards the students

Student Body: Good School Not Very Diverse – there is a large African american population but very few caucasians. There is a great deal of diversity in the wlaks of life that students come from

Academic Flexibility: I chose Atlanta Technical College because of the convenience of getting to my classes, The tuition is affordable and after I met the Chefs at the school they made me feel comfortable about returning to school. No matter what age I was.

Campus Resources: What is unique about Atlanta Technical College? What is considered unique now a days? One thing I notice about ATC is the leadership at the college. Our president Dr. Thomas lead the school with passion. She believes in opening doors for student to experience what life has to offer us.

Overall Experience: Blockers Underdogs – My experience at Atlanta Technical College has been a roller coaster. I never cared for school and I was hesitant in returning after 30 years. My first day at ATC I sat in the front of the class which was something I normally wouldn't do. I made a decision that I would not hide in the back of the class, that I would step outside of my comfort and rediscover myself. That was my first step toward my goal of completing my studies in Culinary Arts. The next year I became active in SKILLS, and DECA. I competed in my first competition February 2012. I did not place but I was voted to be a DECA Officer for the state of Georgia. In March of 2012 I Place second in the Front of the House Competition and April 24, 2012 my team won First Place in the Culinary Competition in Salt Lake City, Utah. I call my team Blocker's Underdogs because no one thought ATC would place in the competition. I am out of my box and I am so ready to make my mark in this world.

Student Body: Intelligent, Creative, and Unpredictable – In the culinary arts program at Atlanta Technical College, the students come from various backgrounds. There are students who have had a passion for food all their lives and then there are those who realized later in life the joy of creating in the kitchen. Earlier I mentioned that the instructors think outside of the box but they also bring students out of their comfort zone. I was one of those students that was always in the background and never voice my opinions. We are not only receiving an Awesome education but doors are opening up for us and we are experiencing life to the fullest.

Academic Flexibility: Not Organized – During registration its very difficult to talk one on one with administration.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: Most students at my school are parents and work full time.

1 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Insurance and Activity Fee – The tuition is too high along with the parking fee. If a student is over the age of 50 should not need to pay activity and mandatory insurance
