Overall Experience: My overall experience at school so far is way beyond what I expected it to be. I never went to college let alone doing it online but now that I have started I tell myself I should have started it along time ago. I would choose going to my school over and over again I am getting my bachelors degree but have decided to get my masters immediately afterwards I love my school!

Campus Quality: I don't have the unique experience of on campus settings but I have heard lots of excellent things about the campus experience that I have realized if I lived in California I would be going to the campus instead of online

Online Courses: I absolutely love each of my online courses and I think I learn something new with each one. I prefer online class more than I do a traditional classroom experience. doing my degree online is very flexible with my everyday schedule

Academic Experience: There are several academics offered at my school. The professors are absolutely amazing. Getting signed up for your first class easy as ever and how you do your homework and when you do it is up to you but there is plenty of time in between each assignment that you are not overloaded

Academic Experience: Its the only online college or college in general I have ever attended but my major is applied behavioral science and so far I love how everything is going and how much I am learning from one course to the next

Career Services: I just started going to college this year online at Ashford University so I don't know exactly what their post-grad services are but the ones I have heard about will be excellent. I'm getting my bachelors degree then immediately getting my masters degree

Academic Flexibility: I attended a conservatory before and thought the credits would at least transfer to be electives so the fact that not a single credit transferred is frustrating and discouraging.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I had a plan for the classes I took to be paid but it didn't so I'm trying to get scholarships to pay the school tuition and continue my degree. If my husband wasn't active duty I wouldn't even be able to get a degree bc tuition is too high for a single income house hold with children. Thankfully ashford offers a discount on classes for military spouses and free digital books.

Online Courses: This differs from a campus because they were the only college to be accredited and offer the class I want for my degree plan. They have a very great app that's user friendly that allows me to do my classes on any device at anyplace. Also the breakdown of the coursework is not overwhelming to where you can't achieve it by the deadline. This is the first and only college that actually makes me want to finish my degree!

Campus Quality: They actually offer the program that I am interested in. And online and with an ease of being able to do and understand the class work.

Overall Experience: So far I have had an overall good experience . I just need a scholarship to continue and actually go further with my degree. I want to graduate so when my husband gets out of being in the army I can help support my family.

Academic Experience: It is by far the best online school I've found, it's portal online is user friendly and the tech help actually solves the problem!

Campus Quality: It is ok, the school isn't old but its not new either

Career Services: Post Grad I have had one phone call but it just said they were calling to see if I have any questions and this was done when I was finished with my education. I have not been contacted by any alumni networks or given any information. Also, no help in the job prospect area.

Academic Experience: The workload is fair. There is plenty of time to get the work done. I have not used Ashford for job opportunites at this time. I enjoyed all of my classes especially my core classes for my major.

Overall Experience: The only issue I have with Ashford University is that they do not offer their On-Line students any scholarships. We need help just like on campus students.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office communicates on a regular bases. They send reminders about forms such as the FASFA.

Academic Flexibility: The 5 week time schedule can be difficult. However, the fast schedule helped me stay on track. The classes were informative and challenging. I have used knowledge from my classes in my current job.

Academic Flexibility: I was disappointed more of my credits did not transfer, but really there was no discussion on the subject, very much a take-it-or-leave-it-decision from them. However, in general, it has been a good experience with most people, only a few instructors seemed out of their element or on their high-horse about themselves. The teaching assistants were awful but they appeared in only a couple of early on classes. Took me awhile to get an advisor who I enjoyed working with but he was gold once I got him. For awhile the advisers were getting changed every few weeks and it was more than annoying.

Overall Experience: Overall it has been a positive experience and worth the time and expense if I manage to get a career change out of it - otherwise I will be very disappointed.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: The online classes are very convenient if one is organized and focused. Sometimes everyone clicks and communicates very well in a class and sometimes there is no connection with an instructor. I believe this reflects the teacher's attitude. It is usually worse when there is a teacher assistant.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: Not applicable for me - I am online.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: I attend online so that is all I know. They make improvements every year for us online to access the library and such. Right now they are getting us into new student portals - whether we want them or not!

2 College Senior

Career Services: I did not really experience any thorough career services when I graduated with my BA, hopefully my experience will be better after the masters completion.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: I am just starting the masters program here so I do not have a lot of experience with it at this point; but I also did my BA in Cultural Anthropology here. I really enjoyed most of the instructors and the diversity of the students in that major.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
