Student Body: I am an Online student, but I can tell by the names of my classmates that diversity is huge at our school. I love the fact that I have the opportunity to be in a classroom with people from all over the country and feel like we are all in the same room. I have learned so much about cultures and places that I have not had the opportunity to go. I am especially impressed with the amount of military personnel that are enrolled at Ashford. That really says a lot about a school.

Academic Flexibility: There is nothing bad that I can say about Ashford. I was really nervous when I enrolled over a year ago because I had been out of school for so long. The advisors made the process so smooth, and with the help of the webinar, I was able to start my classes with ease and knowledge of what I needed to do. The assignments are fair and I have improved my writing skills tremendously. I love the classroom environment because there is no pressure and we are able to say everything we have to say when posting our discussions. Ashford has been a rewarding experience for me and I tell everyone about it. I plan to obtain my Master's degree the fall of my graduation and I cannot wait!

Campus Resources: I am not sure how well my schools campus is other than what I see from my online log-in. There are a lot of anouncements and that is how I am aware of what is happening but I live to far to take part in any events.

Online Courses: This was my first time returning to school since my graduation date in the year 2001. I was affraid of taking classes because I forgot many things that need to be known in order to succeed in school. When I began I had no idea I would do so well but it was a breeze once I got the hang of everything. I am one of the top people in my school but I may have messed that up from my previous course because the Professor did not interact with me as much as I would have liked. I got my first C in the whole year and a half I have been there. Other than that I am very proud of myself. It is different than sitting in the classroom but I like it because I get to sit in the comfort of my own home.

Career Services: Ashford has not provided me with any job prospects in my field.

Academic Flexibility: The flexibility of the classes are nice being online. We are only in a class for 5 weeks, so if you have an Instructor /TA you dont get along with you are stuck in that class for months on end like campus classes. The down fall is if you don't make a perfect grade point or a required grade to pass on, you will have to take the entire class over. Another down fall is that if your class grades are lower than what you expected, there is no way to redeem your grade adverage because there is not extra credit work.

Career Services: I have only try to acess this area a few times. I am not able to give a bias opinion to this question. Sorry

Campus Resources: Being an online student we are finding issues with our network, especially when submiting assignments.
They find the oddest time to do maintance and updates, choosing the day that are scheduled for those " Assignments/ Discussionmust be posted by____day."
Often tech help reads from a manual that often does not work out, leaving everyone clueless.

Academic Flexibility: I am so excited to be a student at Ashford University. I can spend time with my children, work on the side as well as be a loving wife. I have had a lot of time on my hands and I am still doing exeptionally well in my classes. The portal is easy access and when I need an adviser, they are there to help!

Academic Experience: I love this school. Most of the teachers are amazing., They get in touch with you in a timely manner, and the assignments are easy to do.

Academic Experience: I'm enrolled in an organizational business manager course specifically targeting communication skills and tools. It is exactly what I expected it would be. It provides valuable information on communication skills, listening skills, as well as what is required to be an effective manager in today's workplace with the advancements in technology.

Academic Experience: I'm only in my 4th week but so far I am loving the experience. The work is great, the professor is wonderful, the students are supportive, the staff works hard to help you with your needs. I have no complaints, other than I need more financial aid. There are fees for courses I didn't anticipate or expect. That is the only thing I was caught off guard on.

Campus Resources: Everything is very easy to access and there are always new things happening at Ashford.

Campus Resources: The online classroom is really easy to navigate and instructors are easily reached. I also like that there are virtual textbooks available.

Campus Resources: I really like how I can do everything on my own time. I have a family and it is great not to have to worry about being in class at a certain time each day. The instructors have been great and my classes have been great.

Online Courses: Online classes are fantastic! Its such a ease knowing you can login and subbit assignments on your time, any time of the day. The online classroom is more involved than a regular classroom. Classmates are more willing and eager to respond with insightful, helpful meaningful responses. Proffesors are easy to contact and willing to assist when ever it is needed.

Career Services: So I'm rating it an A- because like other schools it does take time to find a job. The career center assists you in finding a job but it's our duty in actually getting the job. We have to utilize the resources they give us. I haven't graduated college yet but I plan and utilizing the resources. I always see news alerts on career services at Ashford when I log in to classes.

Academic Flexibility: I transferred here from another school because of the convenience and it the staff are always willing to assist!

Online Courses: Online courses are not for everyone. Ashford's courses take a lot of dedication and discipline. The workload can be intense, but for me personally, completing a course in 5 weeks versus 15 is worth it!

Academic Flexibility: I have not attended any other online colleges, but Ashfords class schedules are perfect for me. All classes start on Tuesday, all discussions due on Thursdays, quizzes by Sunday, and assignments and responses due by Mondays. We must log and and participate regularly, but with the mobile and iPod apps Ashford has, school work can be done just about anywhere. Knowing that the schedule isnthensame class after class makes it much easier.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel the education I am receiving from Ashford is well worth the money I am paying. I do receive some financial aid but as a military spouse also receive a military discount which is very nice!

Online Courses: I enjoy the online classes after I get off work I can come home, wash, cook, and do homework at the same time, where as if I had to physically attend a class I could not.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Being a psychology major, and also a sociology major at Ashford has been quite enjoyable. I have not been to other universities to compare them to Ashford been quite satisfied with where I am at.

3 College Senior

Student Body: The only real interaction with other students is through post work. Which does provide some interesting conversations between students.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: The instructors at Ashford have always had the time to explain all the criteria needed for coursework. There've always responded in a timely manner to each and every question that each student has asked.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
