Tuition & Financial Aid: The education I'm receiving from Ashford is priceless to me, so the cost is definitely worth it. I've gained so much knowledge of the business world and shared the experience with others. I know that my degrees will make great difference in my life as well as others that I will help with the business I will open. I will give back to the community. I felt that the staff of Ashford is great on follow-up and feedback and helping you went needed.

Academic Flexibility: I've truly enjoyed the flexibility of being online. I choose Ashford because of the excellent listing of degrees. I was able to complete one degree, and graduated Cum Laude and start another within the same year(currently holding a 4.0). I did this because of the great experience I had as an undergraduate. I like the challenge of completing a class every 5 weeks and now every 6 weeks. I will be able to apply what I've learned in the business I plan to open within a year of graduating. It allows me to find time for family and what I want to do.

1 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: After comparing different online program tuition fees, I decided to apply at Ashford University because they had the lowest tuition fees but after being enrolled for 4 months they increased my tuition. In addition, my first advisor informed me that I would be fully funded, I was so excited and decided to proceed with the enrollment but after 5 months and 3 different advisors I was informed that I owed over $1000 for my classes and the advisor had misinformed me about being fully funded. The school acknowledge the mistake but are only covering me for one semester. Now I have to deal with 2.5 years of paying for school.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
