Academic Experience: I usually like most of my instructors. When they have rules and a curriculum to follow it makes sense, but when they are all different it doesn't make any sense. Sometimes the way they calculate the grade is frustrating, but with communication and reviewing everything gets done correctly.
I like that online everything is organized and it is all up to us how much we want to grow here.

Campus Resources: I am an online student therefore the computer network is crucial. The website works great. I can easily submit discussions, questions, visit library with a large database, and keep in touch with other e-mails with instructors. Technology is great!

Academic Flexibility: I love Ashford University for giving me just a flexible schedule. I am a single mom and a full time working person. Plus this was the only University with the major I was looking for, Applied Linguistics. I love what I am learning and I love the schedule.
I only wish I was a resident of Iowa so I can go to campus sometimes and meet my instructors instead of online.

Campus Resources: They have a website. We must provide our own services. Some books are provided for us.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: There is not much campus life or a social scene for an online school. However they do offer numerous tools for students to use. Including a library which contains numerous scholarly search engines, detailed degree progress reports, and a career service which offers internships and helps prepare resumes.

Academic Experience: My classes are not what Iexpected, but I am learning things that I learned in the past.

Student Body: Mostly, my university consists of working-class people with part-time or full-time jobs. Most have families. They often juggle many different roles, in addition to being a full-time students. While they are happy to socialize and make friends, that is not their priority. They are getting and education, so that they can seek a different career, in order to better their lives (as well as their children's lives).

Campus Resources: Ashford University has an online campus that is very easy to navigate. At times the library or portal is down but it does not take longer than a day to get it back up.

Campus Resources: I think Ashford University's campus resources are convenient and easily accessible.

Academic Flexibility: I chose Ashford because they are honest and they have teachers designed to understand the student.

Student Body: Everyone seems to be doiong their best so far, It's nothing really holding them back as far as other student making noise in class.

Academic Flexibility: Attending Ashford online has offered me unprecedented flexibility. Without this kind of flexibility I would not have been able to attend. They transferred all qualifying credits from when I attended a traditional college in 1987-1988 without any problem or hesitation. I was only required to take and pass an English test to ensure I remembered enough grammar to participate at a college level. I love this school!

Academic Experience: I am a business major but I have only taken one course towards my elective. The workload has been high but I have held down a full time job and a 3.30 gpa. I am an online student and I believe that this intells more reading than a traditional student.

Campus Resources: The computer network at Ashford University is excellent. Alerts are always being sent out to warn students if the website will be down for updates. Almost all updates are made between midnight and 5am while most people are asleep. With taking courses online, there is access to the online classroom 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The student portal provides resources for successful studies, technical support by phone and live chat during working hours and email 24 hours a day seven days a week, and a handful of student advisers assigned specifically to individual students. Instructors make themselves available to students, replying back within a 24 hour time frame; to answer questions and assist students with successful studies. Ashford University has great computer networking. Awesome; would not change a thing.

Tuition & Financial Aid: My experience with Tuition and Financial Aid have been up and down. Mostly because I expected to receive tuition assistance from my job but that did not happen so that was a minor set back. Even though that happened Ashford still worked with me and allowed me to continue to take classes while I got everything straightened out. Awesome school.

Student Body: Everyone I have come in contact with through my virtual classrooms have been extremely pleasant and well spoken. Everyone does their best to assist one another when it is needed.

Academic Experience: I am a Human Resource Management major, the classes I have been assigned are what I expected although some I expext to be extremely boring I am ready to get them over with. Since my school accepted all of my transfer credits from my previous school that puts me ahead of the ball. The classes I am taking this semester are a mixture between core classes and classes related to my major. I am excited for it all!

Online Courses: The online courses I have taken have been a breeze. I am happy with my course selection and I can't wait for my next one.

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The Instructors are great. Each one of them gives you positive feedback on how to revise your work. I never had any specific problems with this school. The class registration process was really a fast. You had to answer a few short questions and the admissions advisor helped you with paper work and transcripts needed to enroll.

Academic Experience: As an Ashford University student I'm basically taking courses that are required for my major. For Example; Psychology202, Exploring college, and english and composition classes to learn how to write corrective APA style papers. As a Liberal Arts major the work is very easy and all class discussions, testing and assignments are posted on the classroom board. Just read the assigned chapters and you will earn good grades. There are falcuties members who are available between the hours of 10am-7pm to help you out. The library and composition centers are available mon-fridays from the hours of 1-5 pm. Responses to these centers are to be posted 24 hours in advanced to receive a timely feedback.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
