Campus Resources: It is military friendly and ensures that I can do my job and school at the same time. I occasionally get emails or calls from my adviser checking up on me and my progress.

5 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am military and use the TA and with the furlough and lost of TA, I like many others were impacted. Ashford walked me though other routes to stay on top of my education and because of their efforts, I qualified for the Pell Grant and was able to continue my education.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: I take online courses and the updates are always projected and I have not had much issues with assignments and accessing my school page.

5 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: I never had an issue that an instructor couldn't help me with.

5 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: The advisors and instructors were very helpful in me obtaining all the information I needed to succeed. The classes were all geared toward my major course of study. Being a student at Ashford University has given me the edge I need to succeed in my current job title.

Online Courses: I feel with online courses I'm able to focus better rather than get embarressed in a real class room. Everything has been so great

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I feel everything so far has been great. I do wish there was more personlized lessons like videos to watch of certain lecture or math courses but over all I've enjoyed everything

1 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: This is the worst school when it comes to probelms and figuring out that if we cannot get to the school web page, that it is ok to email our homework directly to our teacher. Then, load the paper later when the web page is available.

3 College Junior

Student Body: I would say there is a good mix of all demographics.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: This school allows me the ability to take courses at my own pace and does nto keep me restrained to a set schedule for classes. This is especially helpfull with my ever changing work schedule.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: I felt that the first online classes that I was taking that I would not learn anything because I am not in an anctuall classroom setting. Once the courses started I begann to understand that I can learn just as much in an online class. I feel that the assignments are evenly divided and with the coursework being provided at the begining of the course it allows me the opportunity to work ahead and allows me to free up my schedule for later on.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Most of my classmates are hard working professionals that are career oriented and looking to excel. I believe that most of mates are here to make a better life for themselves and their families.

2 College Junior

Campus Resources: Required to only provide research from the Ashford library. We are limited to the information, text, and rules of Ashford. They manipulate individual funds upon dispersement from government delaying residuals up to 3 months, simply because they can. My student advisor is not familiar with my degree program nor, I believe, qualified for this position. She does not have the knowledge to assist others.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I am a business major and I really enjoy the curriculum because they mix your undergraduate classes with your graduate classes so I'm not taking business related classes all the times. It is refressing to take a environmental class in the middle of math or business.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The majority of my professors were quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had. The curriculum was fun in many cases and easy to follow. I really enjoy the 5 week layout of the classes and since you can see ahead, you can always work on the next weeks projects to get ahead if feel the need to.

Tuition & Financial Aid: As a student I know that there is going to be work a little bit of work required for anything that I want in life. The financial aid and Tuition at Ashford are acceptable because they walked me through everything and my advisor was only a phone call away if I needed anything. The tuition is lower that many of the other schools I looked into and Ashford helped me get every penny from financial aid that I could.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I'm currently working on my MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship and the current classes have been very direct on what is expected of me as an owner/management.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Professors gave great feedback and any assistance they could offer. Wanted each student to success in their class.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: My sister already attended Ashford and recommended the college to me. Everything she said about the school has been right on mark.

4 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel that my education is worth what I am paying in tuition. I am very please with the teachers response to my needs and the help they provide. It also works with my fulltime job schedule. I am also a fulltime parent. I have three beautiful kids at home.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I enjoy online courses at Ashford. It gives me the opportunity to complete my course work and be a part of discussions without leaving my house or while I am at work. I work fifty five hours a week so a traditional classroom setting is not feasible for me. I give it an A minus however, because in one course I had severe difficulties communicating with a TA and it affected my grade. If I would have been permitted to speak to him on the phone or in person the issue would have been resolved quickly.

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Fast paced, cannot absorb material important in todays changing world. NO COMMENT regarding problems with financial aid. Disability program is fantastic.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: I can truly say that Ashford University has taught me how to become a determine person when having to do plenty of work even though it can be tough. I have learned how to multi-task because there is so much school work to do, and have a regular life. The unique features are the school is tremendous, and the staff members know how to listen even though I am possibly a thousand miles away. Ashford University treats you like family. Therefore, this is unique to me. My registration process was easy as one, two, and three. The school explained to me what I should expect, and what I should not expect. I understood what I should do or not do, and I was able to carry the responsibilities through for three years now. The professor and student relationships are wonderful. I have learned a good bit of information from the students, and I have learned from the professor. Peer-to- peer interaction is good because everyone is very respectful to one another, and it is important to treat people the way you would want to be treated.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The resources are excellent. The library, cafe'.information concerning grades, financial aid, whatever is needed is there.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: There are only 5 weeks per class. The way the assignments are scheduled makes it very easy to take care of home and family as well as school work.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
