Online Courses: I have had a great experience with my online course. Before Ashford online course were not for me, however the courses are very user friendly and consistent with each class as for as the scheduling of assignments. I can log on just about any where to view my classroom and / or grade status.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I don't think some of the fees should apply to online students, but overall the fees are understandable

Campus Resources: Even though I'm basically a new student, there is nothing bad I could say about Ashford University. My Admissions Advisor, Richard Portugal, along with other staff members, they are the best people to work with. Richard keeps me encouraged and updated with changes. He's became a great friend and like a little brother. My instructor, Michelle Rammussen, she is the most kind and understanding person. She gives me great insights and views, and gives lots of encouragement.

Online Courses: I love going to school online like I mentioned earlier I have a hectic life. Online school is a more convenient way for professional workers to continue work as well get their degree. Everything is more so moving at your pace. We do have two days out of the week you know your work must be turned in on time. We have a library, writing center and tutors available to the students via online.

Academic Flexibility: I had some of my classes transfer to this school and even though they transfer a few they are not as many as I though I would be able to transfer, I am not sure is my situation will change once I complete my A.S degree in my community college because I do not know if that changes anything at all and would help me avoid having to take some classes that I already took to fulfill the requirements of my A.S degree,

Overall Experience: I have had a good experience attending Ashford University in one of their online programs the only part that I would say is making sure your get enough information about your finances before yo begin your program at this institution, make sure you clarify any questions or concerns.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I like the online classroom environment, I like how the professors give you appropriate feedback on your homework and how the amount of work required by every class is not excessive and unrealistic.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I really enjoy taking my classes online as it is very convenient with my work schedule, I can access my school work from any place where I can have internet connection. So far I have not experience difficulties accessing my student portal or any system problems. The way the system is designed make it fairly easy for almost any one to be able to take classes online.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I really enjoy doing my course work at his school since its a reasonable amount of work per week. I am a full time teacher and also a full time student (part time) at Ashford University and part time at my community college thus as you can imagine I have very little time left to work on homework, but having such a reasonable amount of homework from my Ashford classes I manage to work on my assignments and turn them in on time. I also want to mention the great benefits of studding online, you get to do your homework and reading at your own time and you do not have to be in a physical classroom setting. In addition you get to work at your own rhythm and access your work from pretty much wherever you are as long as you have internet connection.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Ashford University offers a great selection of majors for those individuals who are interested on business. I can say that the enrollment process was pretty easy and I was always able to get the help I needed when I needed it. The staff at Ashford are always willing to help you out and they explain everything very well so you always feel like your are obtaining the best possible advice for your questions.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: over all I like this institution, classes are fun and engaging professors are very helpful and the student services representatives are very polite. the only thing I would like to mention is to be careful with your financial aid as I would recommend to get well informed about how your finances work in this institution to avoid any trouble in the future.

Overall Experience: Career outlooks through this school are excellent

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
