Campus Resources: I am an online student and sometimes it seems that the classes are too rushed.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I think that if I had been able to attend an on campus university that I would have gotten a better education for my money.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The classes are chosen for you. Every thing else is pretty much the same.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I attend online and from that stand point their are not a lot I can access.

Academic Flexibility: I haven't had to get anything transferred because I am currently a first time student. The flexibility of the classes and curriculum is very good. You get your assignments on Tuesday morning with the group discussion and due dates and explanations of what all needs done and then you have free rein from there.

Overall Experience: I filled the application out to get some information on the school to begin with. Not even 3 minutes after submitting it I got a call from my adviser. She has been the person I speak to every time I call there about anything. She is always very helpful and responsive. She has helped me complete everything I've needed for school and helped me get a clear decision made for what I wanted to major in.

Overall Experience: -The professors are very nice people. They have great teaching techniques and are always willing to help when it is needed. They respond to your emails and request quickly and they do a great job of keeping grades and work scores updated. The class sizes are also very nice. They are a 19-1 ratio, which is very nice and gives each person enough time with the professor when they need them.

Overall Experience: I don't really have a rating or a review for this topic because all of my classes are online and I don't go to campus and get to be a participant in there elective activities.

Online Courses: The program or software my school uses to run everything that they do is fantastic! Everything you need is right there in front of you. All the books you need, your grades, your assignments and when there due, numbers to anybody working for the school for any reason at all, all on the same website for you to have total and complete access to. The site is also very user-friendly and labels anything you would need to find. It's very plan and simple, but it's also very effective.

College Student

Student Body: I don't have a student body rating because all of my courses are taken online so I dont have any interaction with any of the other students at all.

Tuition & Financial Aid: It took a long time to fill out all the paper work and find all the programs I would be eligible for to get loans, grants, and financial aid to help me pay for school but in the long run it was all worth it and will pay of once I graduate.

Career Services: The post-grad services my school provides are all very good services. They offer job placement after graduation. They offer a program called work study, in that program it's a upperclassmen helping out the new and first time freshman to make them more comfortable with the school and teaching them ways to help balance school, work, and everyday life so they don't get to overwhelmed and drop out. It's also on the list of electives as well so you get a elective credit for doing the program.

Academic Experience: I love my major I chose. The workload is never a problem because I love learning about it and there is enough time allowed between assignments to make sure all of the work is done and done well. The teachers always update the portals so you can get a idea of what next weeks topic or workload will be like so you could plan out how your going to make time to get everything done, as well as begin early if you would like to.

Academic Experience: The class registration process is fantastic! My admin rep is always so nice and cheerful when I talk to her. She has helped me make a lot of decisions and helped me to be able to come to this school at all. She always makes sure I know what paperwork I need to do and send it, she makes sure I know what I'm doing on it so it gets done right and doesn't delay progress. She even walked me through my student portal when I started so that I would know how to navigate through and use the site effectively.

Campus Resources: The school I got to is across the country from me so I'm not familiar with the actual campus. My courses are taken online. I will not have to be on the actual campus until the day of graduation.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Not all credits transfer, however I spoke with admission counselor and they made appropriate correction.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I would choose this school again. However if the tuition keeps rising I may have to relocate to a different school for my masters degree.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: A great way to build a network, I'm glad I had the opportunity to receive my degree from this college as of October 2015.

5 College Senior

Online Courses: Time constraints don't allow me to be in a physical classroom. Through Ashford's online programs I have the ability to complete my degree.

2 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition rises every year this year April 1st 2015. Additional $10 per credit hour

3 College Senior

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
