Academic Experience: like i stated i just transferred and just getting my offical transcripts in but the first class to me is an easy A. That teaches you to get to know your fellow students. Also my advisor has got my schedule right so i don't repeat any classes and has even told me about the resource Ashford has.

Overall Experience: I transferred in from another online line school, which was awful. As soon as i called my advisor Shawn was very happy and seem to love his job, which makes the other person like feel comfortable to open up better. He helped me figure out every question i had and if he didn't know he would find out. I either call or my advisor calls me at least 3 or more times a week just to see how things was going and if i needed help.. The classes are easy to understand and everyone there wants to do everything they can to help you reach your goal and that why you basically have three didn't advisor who together are a super hero. I wish i started here instead of the other online school and the greatest thing is they took every credit i had from three school and will be graduating next year sometime,

Online Courses: It's great to be able to work at your own pace and concentrate on things that you need to, not what everyone else needs. It's accelerated classroom work but manageable.

Overall Experience: I have not yet taken advantage of this program offered yet. They do offer resume building and a program to set you up to succeed in getting a new job/ job placement.

Academic Experience: They introduce you to marketing and that was really helpful to better understand how each aspect goes hand in hand for businesses not only in profit but from management as well.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
