Overall Experience: I have been to quite a few schools and this university has been the best university I have attended. I got behind in my work due to a health issue and my advisor was able to get me the assistance I needed to get back on track. My instructors were very understanding and accommodated me. All of my questions and concerns were addressed promptly. I received great feedback on all coursework. I recommend this school to anyone who is wanting to pursue their degree goals.

Overall Experience: I have just started the admissions process. My admissions adviser is the greatest, he is interested in helping pursue my degree and always emails or calls to update me on the status. He is aware of my financial restraints and gives me the comfort I need to make sure I am doing the best thing for my future.

Overall Experience: I go to the on-campus Ashford in Clinton Iowa. They are closing this year (spring 2016) but i was not to graduate till spring 2017. They lied to all the students about the school not closing. It is very disappointing to all the students. The teachers were amazing. They all cared about their students. I would sit in my Micro-biology teachers office and have tea and chat. The dorms were not bad, they were just redone though. I meet some of my best friends here too.

Overall Experience: I have no regrets concerning Ashford. Nearly everyone involved was very helpful and encouraging. The only thing I would strongly recommend is that you check with your state regarding requirements for becoming licensed if you are hoping to do so from your degree. I easily found a graduate school in my field that accepted all of my credits from AU without question.

Overall Experience: Personally, I had a positive experience at Ashford University until the closing of their campus following the 2015-2016 school year. Luckily, I am senior and am only affected in the area of student teaching, which will still cause an unwanted hassle. My time at Ashford University was met with dedicated and heartfelt teachers, that really just wanted to see me succeed. My advisor became my rock, someone I could definitely trust with my educational future; this school truly became my home away from home.

Overall Experience: While I do feel the University could offer better access, such as a student email, and simply offering scholarships, the school itself is detailed when speaking to potential students regarding the costs. The staff are good at returning phone calls, and answering questions students might have. The reason I chose this University is because they are one of few that offered affordable courses, and the course I was most interested in, without having to substitute or settle for something else.

Overall Experience: My overall experience has been great with Ashford University. I really like the fact that I only take one class at a time for five weeks, It allows me to still be able to take care of my home and children. Ashford is Unique in the ways that the offer so much help when you need it, and everything you need for your success in classes is right there on the site. Including books, library resources, and any help needed.

Overall Experience: I would definitely attend Ashford again, even though it's not perfect, there have been frustrations, it's been an all around great three years, and I love this school. The laid back schedule makes my life as a single mom much easier to balance with schooling. The fact that it's online means that I can study during lunch and naptime or just whenever I have time. So far, the faculty has been amazing, caring, wonderful people, and I'm proud to work with them.

Overall Experience: It's the best for me because I have a very hectic schedule that a campus school could not work with.

Overall Experience: I would rate my overall experience so far as great. When trying to get in touch with my advisors it is a simple process and that is always nice to have. My teachers are very supportive in helping you understand what your classes need for you to do well in them. The one thing that bothers me the most is that now that being back in school I cannot seem to get the financial help to cover my education but I don't think its the schools fault, I believe it falls back on the government.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
