Academic Experience: I started at AB Tech in 2012. I transferred from Western Piedmont Community College because they didn't offer all of the courses I needed to complete my theatre degree. In the beginning, I had hopes. The campus was great, I liked the theatre instructors (of which there were only two) and by the looks of it, I would graduate in Spring 2013. I found out the last class I needed, Literature Of The Theatre, was not being offered until Fall 2013, which put me behind one semester. The fall semester began, with promises of me getting my degree in December. Then I found out the school was shutting down the theatre program and I was allegedly not on the list to graduate. I was furious. I fought to get my degree and I am now one of three theatre graduates from AB Tech. We all fought to keep the program alive, but we were shot down. We scattered to the wind, nothing but a memory. The school doesn't even produce plays anymore.

Academic Experience: See previous paragraph about business diploma.

Academic Experience: The library is excellent, with plenty of books, DVDs, and laptops for rent. Spacious seats for lounging. The cafeteria feels like an actual cafe, with an excellent cook.

Academic Experience: Typically everything is okay until the program requirements change on a whim. After my theatre degree, I started business diploma and my courses needed changed a minimum of four times. I was also supposed to graduate with that diploma in one calendar year, January 2014-December 2014. Because of the random changes in requirements, it ended up being dragged out to a year and a half. Due to my busy work schedule, I was going to take Human Resources Management online. However, when I went to register for my classes, it was no longer available. Because of these events, I have chosen not to complete my business diploma at this time.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: Staff is great at being helpful and available.
