Parking: Arrive early or when classes get out, that is the easiest way to find parking. We have a valet, but it becomes complicated when your car gets blocked in. The south parking lot isn't always open but when it is your guided by the security to park in a specific spot.

Weather: The weather is quite beautiful. The school is placed on a hilltop giving an amazing view of Pasadena. In the winter months we have seen some rain, maybe on thunderstorm, but most of the time it's cool and sunny.

1 College Sophomore

Greek Life: There are little to few greek life opportunities at the school. Maybe two or three. After being there for a term I have still not seen or been rushed to any of them.

1 College Sophomore

Diversity: We have somewhat of a diverse range of races at ACCD, but not most integrate with each other. Most students are either Caucasian or Asian. There are little to few other cultures that walk the halls.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: I received a great amount of scholarship money which makes my attendance affordable given the state of the economy and sky-rocketing tuition. Although, I still need to take out loans I feel like a have a chance at an exceptional education. To apply for aid submit your portfolio during the scholarship deadlines. Check their website for the deadlines. This way the portfolio is reviewed for acceptance and scholarship aid.

Administration: The security is strict about parking so expect lots of tickets.

Weather: Art Center is located in Southern California a top a hill. We always get agreeable weather, however since it is on a hill top during the winter it does get chilly and windy so dress appropriately.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The campus is clean, well-lit, situated in a very affluent community and patrolled by security very often.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Food: the food is ok but its expensive, be prepared to spend as much as an a restaurant every time you eat.

4 College Sophomore

Parking: Parking can get a bit overwhelming at the beginning of the ter, and toward the end when finals come around, for the most part fi you give yourself enough time you will find a god spot. You just have to not be late and allow people to leave.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: We are all too busy studying and making work to worry about stuff like this.

3 College Senior

Campus Food: It's hit or miss. Don't get the fish...any kind.

3 College Senior

Parking: Parking sometimes sucks. Security gives too many tickets.

Off-Campus Dining: Eating anywhere in Pasadena is hardly ever a bad choice.

Local Area: Art Center and the local atmosphere is amazing and unsurpassed.

4 College Junior

Campus Quality: Art center has many alumni events to help mentor students, internship events, etc. Many people from the industry drop by art center looking for people to hire. Some students can even begin working while in school sometimes.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: You can find help though art center to find housing. It's a website but it is not updated enough. However there are posts all around school which are more promising for room mates and such. Parking all around Pasadena is terrible though. Very strict parking codes. You may have to pay monthly for parking - $60 at the cheapest. It's a pretty safe city south of Washington street. Rent is also a bit high. One bedrooms are usually 1200 dollars and up unless you're lucky or sharing.

4 College Junior

Campus Quality: art center does try to organize events. many students however do not always utilize the time because of homework. The events are a good addition to the school nonetheless

4 College Junior

Party Scene: Nightlife depends entirely on you and your work habits. Many freshmen or students who are lower term often do not get to go out. Upper term students definitely get to go out more partially because of better work habits, developed skills, and spending less time honing foundation skills that are required for the first 4 terms or so.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: Campus security is quick to respond to theft, outsiders harassing students, or escorting you to your car if you feel unsafe. They are also diligent in informing everyone about possible wildcats or other danger animals like rattle snakes.

4 College Junior

Weather: During the summer in Pasadena, it gets very hot and dry around 90 plus degrees. In the colder weather times, it's very nice to wear coats out and around Old Town Pasadena. The school is well ventilated so no worries once you're inside campus whatever the weather is outside.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: There isn't any dorms on campus, you have to find an apartment a few months ahead. There is an ACCD housing website but it is not very helpful.
