Athletics: I really don't pat attention to sport here but i know that the tennis team is really really really good but there facilities suck they could use a lot more improvement but then again it is a small school

2 College Junior

Technology: Computer labs are OK not the best but not the worst, printing sucks cause they only give you some many number of pages and you have to put money on a card in order to copies

Weather: The Weather on campus is always beautiful, some times it can be super hot during the summer but the class rooms are a cool place and the campus is not very big so if it does rain or is hot your walk is not that far

2 College Sophomore

Weather: The weather is great. The winters are not too cold, but the summers can be smoldering.

Local Area: there is stores around so very conveniant there is a mall right across the street but you have to drive a ways to go to downtown and the beach

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: I have never seen anyone drinking are using drugs while walking on campus. I do not live on campus, so the drug scene may different in the apartments. The school is a drug-free campus and seems to enforce it very well.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: So far everything about my experience at AASU has been very enjoyable. All of my teacher's have been very helpful and has really seemed to be interested in the subjects they were teaching. The grounds are well kept and the police are always driving around so I feel safe. It is a school I would recommend.

Transportation: The city transit runs all day and night and there are taxis available however outside of that you may need your own transportation for traveling out of the city of Savannah. But be careful...there are a lot of traffic in Savannah.

Scholarships: Processing for Financial Aid is fairly straight forward, especially if you know what your doing. People in the Financial Aid Office is very nice and helpful. It is best to speak in person with the F.A officers early and as often as possible.

3 College Freshman

Local Area: Savannah is a good little city. It is a historic area with lots to do such as haunted tours, historic tours, dinning and night clubs. There are plenty of beaches to go to. The city itself schedules plenty of cultural events that you can attend to as well. People down here are very friendly. It is very a very diverse city due to the fact that there is a military base there.

Technology: we just got new computers in another building for more help

Parking: Parking can be really bad in the morning, but after 4:30 pm faculty spaces are available for students. You don't really need a car when you live on campus.

3 Recent Alumnus

Administration: Armstrong is a dry campus, and just recently a smoke free campus too. There are no designated areas to smoke, but if there are not a lot of people around there usually is no problem.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Food: The dining hall is pretty good, like all schools it gets old after a while but tolerable. There are two other places where you can eat on campus but those don't come out of your meal plan. Safest thing to do is going to the grocery store that's next to the school, or going to the small restaurants that are across the street when you just want something different.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academics: Armstrong's IT department needs a major modification. A big request from students is the need for more hands on experience where students actually learn the skills employers are asking for. It gets frustrating at times but a good idea is getting to know your professor and requesting specific methods or concepts that you would like them to teach in class.

4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Quality: Armstrong has a beautiful campus full of greenery. You will always find a garden where you can just sit and admire the surroundings. The student union and the library are other places where students like to spend their time studying or just hanging out.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academics: Registration at Armstrong is very easy and fast. The professors are great, all of them will offer you extra help if you need it. There are multiple labs for students that need specific help, such as a math lab and a writing center. Additionally, the librarians are always very helpful and eager to aid a student in need.
