3 College Sophomore

Majors: The process of getting into the Radiological science is pretty difficult. The core curriculum is very strenuous. If your not a math or science person then it can produce some challenges for you in the long run. You have a test that has to be taken before hand but the admission application is fairly easy it is all done online. My only tip would be is to stay on top of your classes and know what you should be doing.

2 College Sophomore

Administration: While a good bit of the RAs are pretty lenient the campus police on the other hand are a different story. Parking enforcement is also pretty strict. As long as you follow the rules you should be fine though.

Greek Life: Greek life at Armstrong isn't very big. Most end up partnering with Savannah State. Armstrong is trying to expand though.

1 College Sophomore

Parking: Unless you get to campus really early finding a parking place can be an absolute nightmare! You'll end up really far away from where you need to be.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Considering that Armstrong is in the South the weather is pretty warm most of the time. It's a little unpredictable at times. The day could begin freezing and by the end of the day it feels like it's 75!

3 College Freshman

Weather: AASU is located in beautiful historic Savannah, GA. It is a subtropical climate. The winters are short and often not very cold. The summers are long hot and humid.

Majors: The admission process was stress free. The enrollment counselors are very helpful and ready to assist in any way possible.

5 College Freshman

Majors: AASU is the best university in the country for rehabilitation sciences. The course structure is very thorough, informative with state of the art equipment. The university's objective is to help you succeed and accomplish your goals. You will find the professors very knowledgeable in their particular field of study as well as very approachable with any questions or concerns. You will be confident in your pursuit of a career upon completion of the program.

3 College Freshman

Majors: They have a wide selection of majors and have an incredible science program. The school doesn't currently have a business major, but they are working on it.

3 College Freshman

Parking: Parking spaces are limited if you do not live on campus, so be sure to get on campus early.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: There is only one dining hall on campus, The Galley. The first few months it is great, but it soon gets old. My biggest complaint is that the hours. The Galley opens for breakfast at 9am (i have class at 8) and closes at 8pm (I work till 11).

Transportation: Savannah has a very good public trasportation system. Many students use the buses to comute from school to work, but most things are in walking distance. A cab might get you to Downtown faster, but itll cost.

3 College Freshman

Administration: The campus here is fairly loose. The police are often rude, even when just going in their office for simple things, but what do you expect? The Resident Assistants in the dorms are students themselves so they are pretty laid back. As long as you arent endangering yourself or others, its a fun place to live and study.

5 College Junior

Administration: You cannot smoke on campus anymore which is the only restriction here at Armstrong. Everything else is pretty lenient.

5 College Junior

Majors: Liberal studies is a really great program. I am majoring in it so that I can go to law school for my graduate degree. This is a very unique program because you can take so many awesome classes and electives. The workload isn't too terrible and it allows you to still enjoy your life while being a college student.

5 College Junior

Majors: I didn't have any difficulties. My academic advisor was very helpful and showed me everything I needed to do and know.

5 College Junior

Majors: I haven't had an internship before but I have a technical communications certificate from Chattahoochee Technical College which I believe will help me in the near future as well.

Campus Quality: Overall the facilites are very nice. They bring the campus together and make it that much more beautiful. However the dorms are pretty dirty and sometimes they have a weird odor in the air.

3 College Freshman

Administration: Can be very strict sometimes. You have to sign in all of your guests, this is kept up with, if someone slips past the front desk who does not live there then the RAs will catch them, so don't try it. The police are very strict about parking as well. Police are constantly patrolling the parking lots checking stickers and writing tickets. However, noise violators are not dealt with strictly enough. I am constantly complaining on my neighbors and you would think that by now they would have stopped being so loud, but, I am still having to contact my RA to get them to quiet down. The campus is suppose to be a tobacco free campus, yet there are students who constantly smoke on campus. If they want to be a tobacco free campus then they need to enforce it or either take the signs down. They are very misleading.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The RAs are pretty friendly and they try to create fun things for their residents to do while attending. The dorm rooms themselves are pretty decent size. However, the hallways are always dirty and disgusting. The carpets are stained and in the multi purpose rooms on each floor, the furniture is stained and the room smells moldy. The walls are too thin and I am constantly having to call an RA to get them to quiet down my neighbors. Overall, they are decent, close to all the buildings, but too overpriced for what you get.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Most of the girls here are pretty nice. a good girl to guy ratio helps too! 2:1 girl to guy ratio.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: At the school it self not much goes on, but because it is in Savannah GA there is a lot to do in town.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: This campus is as diverse as a bag of M&M's. There is so much culture on this campus that you will learn new things about cultures you didn't even know exsisted if you try!

5 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek life at Armstrong is diverse and unique. There are currently 9 sororities and 3 fraternaties on campus. There is something out here for you to try! There is an absolute no hazing poilcy in effect and hazing will not be tolerated in any of these organizations. Volunteer work is a huge part of the greek community at Armstrong. Each organization is required to have a specific number of volunteer hours per semester and each greek organization always goes above and beyond the call of duty to do their part. Greek life at Armstrong is an amazing experience and I wouldn't trade it for the world!

3 College Freshman

Diversity: As do most schools in the south, there are a lot of African American people who go here. While it doesn't bother me, it can bother some people. There is mostly just white and black people with few hispanics. Mostly we have conservative christians, but there are some who think freely and do not follow a group or religion.
