Campus Quality: Housing is ok. Very thin walls. One of the communities does not have free laundry.

Scholarships: I received information concerning scholarships through email. Scholarship opportunities are found on one easy to access page.

Party Scene: Umm, there is a night life? The only kind of bars and clubs really worth going to is the complete opposite end of town. Savannah as a city is pretty strict about it being 21 or over. If people coming to this school see it as a party school or town, then they have another thing coming.

Campus Food: I refuse to eat at the cafeteria because of the flat fee required to even walk in the door. But there are options both on campus and within easy driving distance that make it a limitless choice from going to the grocery store to pick something quick up or a drive-thru.
Ever since the school put in The Pantry, a giant convenience store, I hardly leave campus unless I absolutely need to while in town for classes.

Local Area: If you're a history nut, Savannah's Historic District is unbelievable. Right next door is Scad and Savannah State, so if you wanna party or attend some cool eclectic stuff, you should be fairly satisfied. If your a pedestrian, the have a local bus that picks up on campus! Its really cheap ($1.50), but make sure to get there early its kinda funny on times. Other than that, there's Tybee Beach and a nice downtown area with clubs.

Campus Housing: The Freshmen Housing is amazing! First off you have your own bathroom and you have a heating/cooling unit right in your room. They have pest control, and I swear I didn't see any kind of insect all year in the dorms. I'm not sure about the upperclassmen dorms but they should be fine.

Drug Safety: You are exposed to lots of on campus smokers, even though its a "smoke-free" campus. That being said the drug scene is moderately prevalent. AASU is a dry campus so absolutely no alcohol is allowed. Some friends of mine have gotten caught, and had to pay a hefty fine.

Diversity: My campus is very diverse and there's really something to do for everyone. We have over 100 clubs/ organizations so just take your pick. As far as religious beliefs go, this is the south, so you'll notice a lot of Christian related clubs. I haven't seen anything concerning another religion. At Celebrate (annual block party for clubs) I saw a kind of "gay pride" club, so you see everyone can express themselves here!

Technology: There are computer labs throughout the campus. However, most of the time they are occupied by other students or study groups. This happens especially around the time of finals. Another problem people seem to face while on campus is the wifi speed. In the dorms, it is very difficult to have good wifi signal. If you are able to connect, it works rather slow. We also ran into many IT problems and the system could be down for an entire day, which could set us back on our school work.

Campus Housing: Living on campus is the best way to get yourself out there. I met so many new and great people my freshman year because everyone in the dorm building were so friendly. Armstrong also made the housing process fairly simple. The housing application was easy to complete, and the day of move-in the housing office made sure everyone knew what needed to be done and the proper ways to go about doing so. The only inconvenience is the cost of living on campus. Many people end up moving into separate apartment complexes because they save a tremendous amount of money.

Academics: From the moment I visited Armstrong Atlantic I knew I was meant to attend their University. The campus gives off a "home" feeling. The registration process was rather easy. Most of the professors take interest in the individual student and make sure everyone is understanding what is being lectured in class.

Academics: I'm currently Rehabilitation Science major at Armstrong Atlantic and I love it. I have not yet been accepted into my major because I'm just becoming a sophomore but I'm looking forward to hard-work in my major because that is a very difficult major.

Academics: There are many different academics you can choose from at AASU and the professors are great. They're willing to stay over time or work with you to make time for you whenever you're having trouble in their classes. The campus and classes are a little smaller than most which makes it a lot easier for you to get with your professor and work something out instead of being stuck.

Campus Quality: What makes the school better is that the school doesn't have many disturbances within the campus. People aren't acting crazy and breaking things and being wild, people are pretty calm and focused on school. Not many parties, but not totally dead because there is always something a function going on somewhere on campus whether it's kickbacks, or functions in the student union.

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are many places on Abercorn to go and enjoy that's near Armstrong. I'm not sure of any student discounts, but the places are are great and have good prices. I haven't had a bad experience anywhere, so anywhere is up for the check out!

Campus Quality: Student life on campus is okay, but could be better if there was more Greek-Life! Other than that, the people are nice and friendly, the campus is calm, and Savannah State isn't too far away if we want actual Greek Life. Armstrong is a great place, a great place for schooling environments and close enough to another campus for more fun!

Diversity: There is some diversity here but it is not alot because it is a small school.

Athletics: I really don't pat attention to sport here but i know that the tennis team is really really really good but there facilities suck they could use a lot more improvement but then again it is a small school

2 College Junior

Technology: Computer labs are OK not the best but not the worst, printing sucks cause they only give you some many number of pages and you have to put money on a card in order to copies

4 College Junior

Weather: The Weather on campus is always beautiful, some times it can be super hot during the summer but the class rooms are a cool place and the campus is not very big so if it does rain or is hot your walk is not that far

2 College Sophomore

Weather: The weather is great. The winters are not too cold, but the summers can be smoldering.

5 College Sophomore
