Academics: Interdisciplinary studies majors is a great major especially for non-traditional students looking to tie in all the classes they have taken over the years and actually get a degree in the end. The workload isn't rough.

Academics: From my experience, most of the professors care about how the students perform in their classroom, and the curriculum is challenging, however, appropriate. The registration process for class is for the most part straight forward, and if an override is needed in order to take a particular class, then professors try to help to the best of their ability.
