Tuition & Financial Aid: I have been receiving good grades because the teachers are great and there is always help from tutors and teachers themselves. I think it is a good investment.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition at AWC is great for someone who is planning to transfer to a University. Money can easily be saved, especially if you recieve financial aid. The price is well worth the courses that are taken, especially since they transfer smoothly to a university.

Academic Experience: The professors here are friendly and involved with the students, considering Arizona Western College is relativley small. But a few teachers lack puntuality within the work that is graded for student feedback. Class registration process is so easy you can do it online! Daily homework is normal, and usually won't take too much time depending on the course that is being taken.

Academic Flexibility: The main reason I chose this school was because of how flexible the class schedules are. I am able to work around my personal schedule, which is great. I attended another school before coming here but many of my credits didn't transfer, which is a bummer. But the convenience of my new school outweighs the non-transferrable credits.

Career Services: I give Arizona Western College a good grade because many students that graduate with a masters in nursing or teaching are able to find a career right away.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I'm diggin it so far. It's all right. It's something to do at least.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Like most community colleges the price is reasonable.

3 College Junior

Student Body: They seem pretty down to Earth. I see a great deal of attractive females and a good deal of muscly males or well dressed males.

Academic Flexibility: When I started college I honestly didn't know what to do and how everything worked at college, I was worried if I was doing things right or not. Fortunately I later understood almost everything that I needed to do in order to succeed at college thanks to the faculty. For example, a great lady that is an academic advisor's in my college. She helped me a lot when I recently started school with how to deal with my classes. I recommend every student who is new to college to have a talked with an academic advisor to get a good advice and help with what they want to study at school, it helped me a lot why not them.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Everything that I'm paying and have payed for my school's tuition has been worth it, because I'm learning and have learned in my classes although there are teachers who don't know how to teach, good thing I was able to pass with straight A's this passed semester because I had some great teachers.
The Financial Aid process is great because it arrives to me just exactly when I start needing money to pay for my books and transportation, two weeks after starting school. I think its great that if students are absent more than three times during the first two weeks of school their financial aid would get cut unless they have a good reason to tell the financial aid why they were absent.

Campus Resources: The internet in the dorms is very poor and thats were we spend most of our time at.The tutors for certain subjest are available like twice a week and sometimes that clashes with our class times so its not really convinient.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I was a nervious about taking online courses, but it was pretty easy once I got used to it. It was nice not worryng about commuting especially in the winter! I though the workload would be easy, but it was challeging. The experience acquired from online courses help to manage my time appropriately and be responsable to submit my assignments on time since there are no exceptions. Moreover, each assignment is scheduled each week, and communication is based in forum on Blackboard.

5 College Sophomore

Career Services: They will help you in the research of finding a job or college to further your intrest. They also have help with resumes and a list of employers that are hiring.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The school has been covenient and is fun to go to and the professors are experienced in the fields of study. They work well with family and work issues.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The campus resources are very student friendly and available with support.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The campus is an older campus, that is being updated with new buildings. The campus does have a great library and computer lab if needed with support.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: My school has a free bus program that allows students to get to and from classes.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: AWC has a riding pass for students need to use the transit system and its within reason for someone budget. Especially when you don't live near the school.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: My major is in Business Administration. I have found that some of my professors will lecture with more hands on. In which. I learn better with more hands on than a professor sit down and try to give a lecture. The work loads are simple but, a little more intense at times.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: With Arizona Western College class registration was easy because the more you as far as credits like 30 - 45 you would get to register earlier. The work the load is manageable for all classes. The curriculum is simple but, within reason.

3 College Senior

Student Body: My school consists of working class people or families.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: The classes offered during the summer months are limited.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I like how they you can get information about the topic but they need to make it more available. However, they do have a lot of career fairs in which you get really good information.

5 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process and the school's tuition is definitely worth paying because in all the classes I have taken I have never failed a class and have only gotten 2 C's. I have proven myself I am capable of succeeding in so much more than I thought myself capable of.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I was able to have good communication with my teacher and I completely understood the class and what the teacher was trying to explain.

There are many things that make AWC an outstanding college. The small size of the classes allows the instructor to pay attention to everyone, knowing each student by his or her name. The flexibility of class schedules allows students to adjust their extracurricular activities with their school time tables. The affordable tuition allows students to save money while preparing to transfer to a four-year university. Plus, the faculty members are always ready to serve the students. Students are assigned an adviser to help them make important decisions on their academic journey. You can get connected with your laptop to the campus Wi-Fi from the dorms, the cafeteria, Starbucks, or the library. Staying in the college dorms keeps you close to everything. The library offers study rooms of different sizes that you can book for your academic needs. The Student Success Center offers free tutoring in different subjects, as well.

Attending AWC gives you the chance to embrace a new community. Through the diverse nationalities of the international students attending the college, AWC opens the door to a global community and provides the opportunity to discover different cultures. You can join one or more of the many student clubs, such as the Science Club, the Radiologic Technology Club, the Rotaract Club, and the I Team (international team), just to name a few. Besides these individual clubs and organizations, faculty-supervised programs (such as the Matador Ambassador program, the Honors program, Phi Theta Kappa, and the Student Government Association) provide leadership and connection opportunities and also a chance to get scholarships.
