Health & Safety: As of late, I have not heard of many thefts or crimes happening on campus, as opposed to 2+ years ago,

Health & Safety: There is always a patrol of on-campus police and it always makes me feel safe and secure knowing that they care for our safety, regardless.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: They are varied and differ in personality and teaching structure. They know what they're teaching, but some of them forget that some students aren't as knowledgeable as they are.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: There are many opportunities that are offered, but you have to be on top of your feet when they have deadlines for applying and submitting in applications.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: You are able to pick your space, but must be aware that it is on a first-come basis and also choose your roommates that you'll be living for for the school year.

Greek Life: In the movies, it's critical and important to be a part of the Greek life of any college or university, but I found it to be quite the opposite. Many students aren't a part of the Greek life and are no different than those in Greek life.

Athletics: There are a number of Fitness Complexes throughout the campus and it's practically impossible to not be able to workout at one of the three existing public gyms on campus.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I would choose this school again because it has so much to offer in regards of majors and elective courses that array from 100+ topics and subjects.

Campus Housing: I am not living on campus, but i have heard from friends that its pretty great.

Athletics: Arizona State University is renowned for the best soccer team! The team spirit is crazy and almost everyone willfully watches and roots for the Sun Devils to win.

Overall Experience: Arizona State University might be known as the party school, but I would like to disagree. This is my first semester here and I am glad to a student of this university. Yes, there may be parties but the it is all about setting your priorities. Sometimes I have trouble understanding maths, so i seek help from maths tutoring centers. The SI Sessions are great resources to ensuring a better education and higher GPA. Overall, I do not have any complaints, except for a bit of a greater work load.

Health & Safety: There are always safety personal, police, and security around and available to help students. There are also areas where one can press an emergency button and have assistance come immediately.

Greek Life: To be quite honest I was a non-Greek and was indifferent to Greeks, but there were many opportunities around school to interact with frats and sororities.

5 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: I loved attending Arizona State. The teachers were all friendly and helpful and I learned a lot about biology.

Athletics: There was a whole lot of school spirit at Arizona State. Everybody was wearing school colors and game day shirts on game days. Next to Memorial Union they were always handing out free shirts!

Health & Safety: The safety is very good and strict as well

Overall Experience: The classes and professors are excellent and teach very well and always helping students when they need it

Campus Housing: Well I live alone and don't have any roommates or anything and I love it, my dorm is where I get most of my things done

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: I was in and join a few others, we help the community a lot as well

5 College Freshman

Athletics: Pretty good gym faculty and pretty good clubs to join as well.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I really love Arizona State University and the downtown campus they really care and want to be involved and get to you know you a lot.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: My most active challenge is to stay out of some of the politically correctness that is so prevalent at ASU. For example, he/she is a doctor, this one is only an instructor, not a doctor, this individual has tenure. Frankly, so what? We are all human beings, we do not live in a caste system. " Each one teach one, each one know one, everyone you meet knows something you do not." The professors teach as if we are already as knowledgeable as they are. We would not be there if we were. The professors want to boast their brilliance by teaching their own curriculum, well need I say more, I trust Pearson and Campbell current textbooks more. If you want to teach us what you learned 30 years ago, write a book, and buy your own school. Professors also know that no student has children, jobs, sick parents, disabled children to care for, therefore, we have nothing to do but focus our entire lives on their class alone. Forget the other classes, mine is most important! Yeah right#&*#*&%

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
