2 College Junior

Scholarships: Most of the scholarships were for in state students, which was hard.

4 College Junior

Campus Food: There are so many food options, it fits with the diversity of campus.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: It's pretty expensive to live on campus, however the dorms and Hub are very close to classes, which is a major plus. Another great part is meal plans, they are pretty reasonable & there are locations all over.

4 College Freshman

Administration: Well controlled and safe. Worth going to.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Sometimes if you don't look carefully, you might accept an award or loan you weren't prepared to. Be wary!

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: As someone without a meal plan, I find having M&G Dollars to be one of the best ways to get food on campus. It's quick and convenient and easy to fill. It's almost like using a gift card or credit card. Or even like the old lunch accounts from grade school. I think getting food on campus is easier than most places and efficient.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I haven't been to many off campus places, but they are decent.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Housing at ASU is up to an above average standard for sure. They are good at providing services for furniture rearrangement, plumbing issues, and various other problems. But you have to be super careful about damages to the room. If even a little bit of paint is scratched off in any way, they can charge you up to $25 for it.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: My housing was pretty good, it wasn't outstanding however. I believe there could be more improvements.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I don't know anything about this.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There is many options for off-campus dining.

3 College Freshman

Administration: Administration can be a bit more involved.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: The finical aid process is very smooth and easy but I do not receive enough money to pay some of my cost.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: I don't believe our food is very good but it isn't the worst thing in the world. I believe more healthier choices should be added.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: The financial aid is a bit unjust. I did not receive much at all.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: It is a hit or miss in the dinning hall, but usually a miss.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The community bathrooms are decently kept.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I have not lived off campus yet but my friends say it is very nice and close to campus.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: I am unsure but from what I heard, loud parties are great.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are a lot of pricey fast food places.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There is a ton of options around campus. Most of them stay open late so you can eat whenever you want. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is normally pretty good.

4 College Freshman

Administration: I didn't run into any problems with how strict things were. Rules are made for a reason.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: It was a hard time to get financial aid and the money I received was not what my family and I were expecting.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The dining halls are very convenient but are not good at all. I have rarely had something there that I really enjoyed. The places where you can use M&G are very nice but the M&G goes fast!

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Living on campus is nice because you have the opportunity to network with people in the same complex with you and meet a lot of new people. It is also very helpful because you are on campus and close to all of your classes.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
