Health & Safety: I feel safe on campus and nothing has ever happened to myself or anyone I knew. I don't think there is much awareness for campus crimes and sexual assaults.

Academics: This was a fairly easy program to complete and not much was expected of you. There were many internship opportunities, but no one told you about them so they were very difficult to find unless you went looking for them.

Academics: There were some awesome professors and also some that should not have even been there. The registration process was simple, but if there was a problem, it was a pain to get it fixed.

Majors: I didn't really think it was that good. No one tells you resources like internships or research labs and I had no clue what was expected of me for continuing on with higher education. Many of the classes did not add to my knowledge at all and I actually deemed them completely unnecessary for my degree.

Majors: Getting into this program is the same application for being accepted into ASU.

Campus Food: There should be healthier options and in addition they are highly over-priced.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Housing: I am not in campus housing.

2 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Dining: It is mostly fastfood places and there are only about 2 places to choose from unless you have a car.

Athletics: I know there is a lot of school spirit at ASU and many students are very involved in attending athletic games.

Off-Campus Housing: Friends like living off campus

Administration: I was worried about parking being strict, but it has not been to bad so far.

Overall Experience: ASU has a very diverse population of students. Although expensive to attend, I would still choose to attend if given a second chance. There are a large variety of classes and counselors are easy to speak with.

Scholarships: I receive a financial aid package at the beginning of each year and so far have had no issues.

2 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Students openly talk about and pass around the drugs used on campus. With such a large number of students, security has a hard time cracking down on drug policy.

Diversity: ASU is full of diverse students. There are many students from out of state as well as from different countries. They all provide different ethnic backgrounds and religious beliefs.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: ASU provides many services and counseling to those dealing with sexual abuse. Although the university tries their hardest to prevent it, with parties and excess alcohol, sexual assaults still happen.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Many of the students (guys and girls) grew up fairly wealthy and like to show that off. Many guys and girls are more concerned about when the next party is rather than when their next assignment is due.

3 College Sophomore

Local Area: There are many attractions surrounding the University. Plenty of shops and bars. The locals around the area just see the students as annoyances.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: The Greek life at ASU is popular, however the students that are accepted into the chapters are not role model students.

3 College Junior

Campus Quality: My school has a program called W.P Carey of Business in which it helps students who are majoring in business. This program helps students who attend community colleges follow a pathway that allows them to transfer to Arizona State University as a junior student without the missing of any course credits.

3 College Junior

Campus Quality: There are large campus events such as football events. On football events, a lot of students attend the event to support the school team.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Transportation is free for students who need to travel from a different campus location to another.

Parking: The permit costs at my school are somewhat expensive. There is a high amount of traffic near the area of the school in which it makes it hard to manage time wisely. Parking spaces are okay.

4 College Junior

Local Area: My school is located on Tempe, Arizona. It has areas for students to eat and buy drinks. It has cool areas where you can walk and visit stores. The school is located near an area where there are a lot of store in which it looks like a mall.

Campus Food: Barrett has the best dining on te whole campus - their food is absolutely phenomenal. There is no reason whatsoever to eat off campus.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
