3 College Sophomore

Athletics: I'm not a sport person

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: It's a lot better than living on campus

5 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Dining: There is something for everyone when it comes to off campus dining. Everything from high end food options to sushi and tai. There is literally something for everyone in the area.

3 Recent Alumnus

Health & Safety: It appears that health and safety is a big concern at Asu. There are 911 phone stations placed throughout campus and medical clinics at the center of the campus.

5 Recent Alumnus

Diversity: The diversity on campus is incredibly diverse and I enjoy it a lot. My closest student friends are international from China and India and I find it very interesting to compare and talk about our cultures differences.

3 Recent Alumnus

Scholarships: All I can say is apply for as many scholarships as possible since tuition seems to keep going up and aid seems to be getting harder to get. Make sure any fafsa's are filled out correctly because that could become a problem later on. On another note, I could use some advise myself.

3 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: I would chose this school again because the opportunities presented are endless. There is always something going on or something new to get involved with. However, Asu feels the need to make certain things more complicated like registration for classes.

3 Recent Alumnus

Greek Life: There are a lot of greek life students and I am always receiving invitations to different chapters but it just is not my cup of tea. If you are interested the opportunities are certainly present.

4 Recent Alumnus

Local Area: I love the city life thus I find myself enjoying my time at school in Tempe more than I do when I have to leave at the end of the day and return to the suburbs.

4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Food: There is just about something for everyone to eat here. Qdoba being my personal favorite.

3 Recent Alumnus

Majors: I'm beyond excited to get into the bulk of it but a little nervous because it's only one of 15 in the country and I'm curious to see how it stems out.

2 Recent Alumnus

Majors: I'll be on honest I slacked off in my first year at a community college. Because the program requires a 3.0 or higher I made it especially difficult for myself to get into the program. Now that I'm in it I'm doing better than ever and am enjoying it very well.

4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Quality: Despite the rep my school gets for being a crazy party school. It actually offers a lot of research to its students even in undergraduate studies. A lot of people do not realize exactly how much research is available.

5 Recent Alumnus

Campus Quality: The newly remodeled athletic centers are outstanding. They are very clean, high end, and overall a great atmosphere.

3 Recent Alumnus

Administration: So long as you respect the security put in place for your own safety you should not have any negative experiences at this campus. Some of the rules may be obscure but they're there for a reason.

4 College Senior

Scholarships: Financial aide office staff answered my questions i had regarding my financial aide. The staff assusted in paperwork thatneeded to be filled out. The best way to get financial aide is to fill out the Fafsa on-line.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The financial aid process did take some time, but I did receive aid. I do advise students to apply to scholarships.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: I did not live on the Tempe campus during my freshman year, however I heard that it is very lenient compared to Taylor Place.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Tempe campus has many options for dining. There are many places you can choose from.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It's been an amazing first year and I can't wait for a few more.

4 College Freshman

Local Area: It's a very fun town to be in on or off of campus.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: It's not like other schools because there's no houses.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: There is a lot of diversity which is great to be around to keep an open mind about others.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: It's great mostly because I live in the most recently updated dorms.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The food isn't horrible, but it's definitely not a five-star restaurant.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
