4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: The cost of housing is extremely high! However, the places are extremely nice.

Party Scene: I am very social. I was able to make a lot of friends and hangout with them in a social setting

Off-Campus Dining: I had a car my freshman year, which made getting off-campus dining very easy.

Administration: The campus is very strict with all illegal substances.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: I was blessed with being able to get as much financial support as I did. Being from a very low income family, without the help of financial aid, I would have never been able to go to college.

Campus Food: I loved the many options of food at the MU. I spent a lot of my M&G at Einstein's, Starbucks and Chik-Fil-a. The only down side with the dining halls themselves is that there aren't many healthy options. Devil's Greens is the only real healthy place, which I spent a lot of time at. Devil's Diner is also great

Campus Housing: Living on campus is very fun! You are so close to your classes, which makes it much easier to get to them on time. Like all dorms, they are a bit small which is the only downside. The CMs are really nice yet enforcing of the rules. I think living in a dorm your freshman year is an absolute must! It is the best way to have a full college experience

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Finding a place to live can either be your worst nightmare or the best thing that ever happen to you, just depends on your situation.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: I am not the partying type but for someone that is looking for a party school then ASU is the right choice for you. There is parties nonstop, everyday of the week.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: The only problem you will have with off campus dining is that nothing good is open 24 hours.

3 College Freshman

Administration: The campus is pretty much like an open jail cell. You can go and do as you please as long as you don't get yourself caught doing something stupid you will be fine.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Best advice would be to do everything as early as possible and hope you never have to go to the financial aid office while you are attending school.

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: Honestly you have so many options to choose from so that's what makes it great. It then just comes down to what you can afford, what you want and how much time you have to get your meal.

Campus Housing: The housing experience itself is something new that I would advise any incoming freshman to try out for at least one semester, but as for as everything that comes with it there might be downsides. The social atmosphere is energetic 24/7 and the convenience is absolute amazing. As far as the cost and other options go, campus living is very expensive. Also everything is made worst if you have a roommate that you don't really get along with, but other than that it provides a great opportunity to see and experience something totally different.

Health & Safety: There are varies emergency posts around campus that when pressed will call the police department, fire department and EMT's.

Off-Campus Dining: The off-campus dining has a great variety of choices from style of food to price. Everyone is capable of finding what suites there needs.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: My financial aid came through in the form of FASFA. The process was easy enough, and I received my loan on time for classes.

Campus Food: There are plenty of options for food on campus for the taste buds of all kinds of people.

Athletics: I have found the sports facilities on campus are excellent.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: My freshman year I received a scholarship which helped me out a ton. ASU is willing to help with scholarships and financial aid in a easy and convenient process.

Campus Food: Campus food can be found everywhere. Around campus there are always several options to choose from that are all very close in distance. The price is good for all the on campus restaurants and the dining hall food is also good. One thing about the dining hall is that there aren't very many options and they rarely change up the menu.

Campus Housing: Last year I lived in the Hassayampa dorms on the ASU campus. I would consider the Hassayampa dorms the best ones to live in because it is close to campus, restaurants, the gym and the outdoor playing field. The actual building was also somewhat new, very clean and had a great atmosphere.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are not very many student discounts, but the food isn't very expensive. There are plenty of different restaurants within walking distance of campus, you could go between classes.

Off-Campus Housing: I loved living off campus, there are plenty of choices between furnished & unfurnished, and how many bed rooms you need.

Party Scene: ASU is rated the best party school, but I didn't really drink. I participated in sober events on campus that were great. Otherwise the bar scene is pretty fun.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
