4 College Senior

Athletics: There is a great sense of school spirit on campus.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Emergency phone stations are all very accessible.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: You have to apply VERY early in order to get any chance at financial aid.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: I NEED MONEY. I FEEL LIKE I AM BEING A BURDEN ON MY FAMILY BY GOING HERE! I LOVE THIS SCHOOL AND I DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE. I JUST REALLY WISH THE SCHOOL COULD GIVE MY FAMILY MORE MONEY

Administration: Pretty much everyone one makes you follow the rules, as best as they possibly can

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Nothing over the top great but it's not awful

Campus Housing: My dorm room is in Manzanita Hall. It's basically brand new and I love! Tons of great extras that come along with it and probably one of the best halls on campus.

Scholarships: I'm a recipient of the President's Scholarship, the scholarship that pays the most money out of the ones offered at ASU. It pays for everything except housing and dining. All I had to do was fill out my SAT and ACT scores when I applied. So get your SAT/ACTs done, try to get the highest scores you possibly can, and make sure you inform the colleges you apply to.

Off-Campus Dining: There is a chipotle near by, that is the only one I really use.

Off-Campus Housing: Parking is terrible and expensive on campus, so living off-campus isn't the best option. But living on campus is pretty horrible too.

Administration: They say it's smoke and alcohol free, but I see smokers hiding in places.

Greek Life: I don't hang out with them but they wear their Greek shirts a lot.

Off-Campus Housing: It's quiet where I live and I get to keep my pets.

Scholarships: I barely get any help. The money I got goes all to the school, I don't have much for rent. The scholarships at the school don't fit me. I'm not a young mom, my major isn't covered, and I don't fit the religions. I'm just a white girl trying to get through college.

Local Area: There's stuff to do if you have friends.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: There are too many homeless people around asking for money and fights happen usually at night.

Local Area: the school is too close to the family life so there is not much of a full on "college life" feel.

Health & Safety: fine if you're a guy but girls should watch cups.

Party Scene: I'm more of a books person but the nightlife's OK.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
