4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Everything is as its said to be and admissions definitey took care of me and my wants for my future.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: ASU is the only school that offers my degree and wants!

5 College Freshman

Academics: I'm in the business program and it's a good program overall, ASU really puts effort into making WP Carey the best it can be. There's a lot of different concentrations but if you wanted to double major it would be relatively easy because a lot of the courses from other majors overlap. The professors are really clear during their lectures and the workload is stressful, but its going to be stressful regardless of what you major in or where you go.

5 College Freshman

Diversity: There's a group for everyone on campus. HUGE diversity and the overall campus is really accepting of anyone.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: You can find anything you want and a lot of people on campus do a lot of drugs, but the same amount of people are on the other end and dont do any drugs. There's a huge mix of people at ASU and no one really cares if you drink/do drugs or if you dont. I've gone to plenty of parties where I didn't do anything and no one looked at me differently.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: There's a lot of cops on campus at all times so I usually feel fine walking alone at night but theres some parts of campus that are pretty sketchy.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I havent had a bad experience with a professor, I'd utilize ratemyprofessor when choosing your courses. They're clear about their expectations from the beginning and are happy to help if you have any problems. Even though ASU is regarded as just a party school, the academics are still top notch and you have to put forth the effort if you want to succeed. The class sizes vary, some of my classes have 20 students while others have 400. Despite the class size, it's not hard to engage with the material.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The great thing about ASU is we have a huge alumni base and a lot of them are always willing to give ASU students internships if you're willing to go to networking events. You get a lot of emails about when and where they are to your student email, so if you don't make connections that's solely your fault. The career services are great too because they can help you build a professional resume, cover letter, give you interview tips, really anything you need. Everything you could possibly need is available, it's just up to you to look for it.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Campus housing is definitely worth it. You make a lot of friends in your building, the rooms are big enough and have a lot more storage than you would initially think. They're renovating most of the run down buildings on campus so they'll be top notch.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: Theres a lot of people apart of greek life on campus. Even though they dont have a good rep the majority of people I meet who are apart of it are friendly so it doesnt completely live up to it's bad rep

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Athletics are a big part of campus life, the football and basketball games are fun. Intramural and club sports are pretty fun too if you're not into playing varsity sports.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: won't attend until fall but the visit and atmosphere is remarkable!

4 College Senior

Drug Safety: I gave it a "great" review because I go out of my way to try an avoid anything concerning drugs, including the people who use them. However just from my nearly four years walking being at the school, I have heard people talk about things in passing (primarily alcohol). Since ASU is a tobacco-free campus, the amount of smoking has greatly decreased (on campus), and I do not believe I have ever seen anyone drinking on campus.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: ASU is "known" for its engineering school, as well as its business school. I am currently in engineering, and have learned quite a bit, I feel. However, I wish their methods of obtaining a degree were more like that to a trade school, as many of our core-classes don't occur until later in our undergraduate degree. This makes it harder to learn the technical skills needed to land a job in the field you desire. However, multiple career weeks/fairs are held on campus each semester, with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge one needs to help them land that aforementioned job.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: With so many students, staff work very hard to keep our environment safe.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The classes are often huge and can feel very distant.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I have learned a lot and been able to network as a freshman. I should have no trouble getting a job due to my connections through ASU.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Barrett is often referred to as a resort, not a residential hall.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Football and basketball games are a huge part of the culture. There is a ton of school spirit.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: ASU has provided incredible opportunities that allow me to distinguish myself and my education from others. My resume will absolutely stand out in a pile because I chose ASU.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: So far as an online student I have had great experiences with both students and professors. My courses are very challenging but I am well-supported.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I am working on my doctorate and know that upon the completion of my program I will be well-prepared for future work in my field.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: My instructors are very kind, courteous, and encouraging. They are also very knowledgeable and passionate about their work, both in and out of the classroom.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Not a participant as I am a online student, but the school has a great track record in sports.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The professors seem to want you to succeed and I haven't had a problem registering for classes.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
