5 College Freshman

Local Area: The area is great! There is ALWAYS an event going on at all times!

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Its fun, definitely a great opportunity to meet new people. A little pricy in my opinion about 1K a month to share a room.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The cops are very prevalent on campus. They are everywhere you look. Be smart!

4 College Freshman

Majors: The math assessment quiz was hard. Besides that as long as you keep a 3.0 or better you will be fine.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Athletics at our school are amazing. The teams are great, the facilities are wonderful. 3 story gym, 3 Olympic pools and beautiful girls to look at everyday how can I complain!

Campus Housing: I live in Taylor Place and I believe it is the best dorm. They are very nice and almost seem like small studios instead of dorm rooms. The only thing I don't like is how quiet it is most of the time. It doesn't seem like anyone is actually living on my floor.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I really struggle with finding good scholarship opportunities on Arizona State's website. I feel like they are not easy to apply to and are not clear.

Off-Campus Housing: Downtown off-campus housing is way too expensive and most people end up moving to Tempe or staying in Taylor Place.

Athletics: The athletic atmosphere is awesome. Everyone is always excited to go to varsity sports and watch the teams. People also get excited and very competitive for intramurals.

Local Area: I go to the Downtown Campus for my classes. There isn't much to do downtown. It is definitely more entertaining to be in Tempe.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are many different burger places that I love and also few pizza places as well. I'm satisfied with these options i have, I'm not very picky.

4 College Freshman

Majors: The teachers are all very helpful and informative. Graphic design takes a lot of dedicated time and effort. I enjoy the program that I'm currently enrolled in because the classes are interesting to me. My studio class is my favorite class to be in due to it being very hands on. I have plenty of time to get work done between classes which is very helpful.

4 College Senior

Athletics: There is a great sense of school spirit on campus.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Emergency phone stations are all very accessible.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: You have to apply VERY early in order to get any chance at financial aid.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: I NEED MONEY. I FEEL LIKE I AM BEING A BURDEN ON MY FAMILY BY GOING HERE! I LOVE THIS SCHOOL AND I DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE. I JUST REALLY WISH THE SCHOOL COULD GIVE MY FAMILY MORE MONEY

Party Scene: There are parties everywhere! It's always easier to get in if you have a good girl to guy ratio.

Campus Housing: My dorm room is in Manzanita Hall. It's basically brand new and I love! Tons of great extras that come along with it and probably one of the best halls on campus.

Scholarships: I'm a recipient of the President's Scholarship, the scholarship that pays the most money out of the ones offered at ASU. It pays for everything except housing and dining. All I had to do was fill out my SAT and ACT scores when I applied. So get your SAT/ACTs done, try to get the highest scores you possibly can, and make sure you inform the colleges you apply to.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
